The withdrawal is temporary though. Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses has pulled out of Super Eagles international friendly matches against DR Congo and Cameroon scheduled for 8 and 11th of October in Belgium.
In a letter to the Nigeria Football Federation, Moses said he was opting out in a precautionary move against injury. The 24 year-old took to his twitter account to explain his decision.
“Unfortunately I’m not fully fit and so can’t go with Nigeria this week but want to say I’m proud to be Nigerian and love my country.” He wrote.
Reacting to his decision, Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh said, “We have no choice now but to work with the other players who are available.”
