LoL! Ibrahimovic takes match ball on first class flight after scoring hat-trick

Paris Saint Germain striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t only an amazing footballer/entrepreneur, he also has a great sense of humour. He’s produced a couple of hilarious and unforgettable on and off-field moments.
So the Swedish footballer scored a hat-trick last night in a 3-1 win over Lorient and decided to give his match ball a treat. Guess what he did, he put the ball on a first-class flight home. That wasn’t his first hat-trick though so that ball should consider itself extremely lucky.
He posted the picture on his instagram page with the caption. ‘For those of you who are wondering where the ball is…’

Ibrahimovic apologises for calling France a shit country.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and outbursts are co travellers. His latest rant is coming few days after he accused Chelsea’s players of acting like “babies” after he was sent off in PSG’s Champions League victory over the Blues.
The PSG striker passed derogatory remarks on France yesterday. He was filmed suggesting his club Paris Saint-Germain is too good for the country after his side suffered a 3-2 defeat at Bordeaux on Sunday.
“In 15 years I’ve never seen a [good] referee in this s— country. It doesn’t even deserve PSG. You’re not playing with amateurs.” He said.
The comment sparked outrage in France with French sports minister, Patrick Kanner calling on him to apologise.
The former Barcelona forward posted his apology via his Instagram account:
“Regarding my comments after tonight’s game; they were not against France or the French people. I spoke about football. I lost the game, I accept that but I can’t accept when the referee doesn’t follow the rules. It’s not the first time and I’m sick of it. My sincere apologies if anyone was offended or took it the wrong way.” The Swedish wrote.

There's a touching message behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic's new tattoos.

‎Forget about how ugly his body looks right now, the tattoos are temporary and are for a pleasant cause i. e to raise awareness of the United Nations relief work in impoverished countries.
Striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was booked yesterday for stripping his shirt after scoring in the game between PSG and Caen but unknown to many, he was showing off his new tattoos which had the names of 50 hungry people he helped by the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
The former Barcelona player  wrote 
on PSG’s official website: “On Saturday evening against Caen, when I took off my shirt, everyone asked what these new tattoos were. I had 15 temporary tattoos on my body. They were the names of real people who suffer from starvation in the world.

“Even if the tattoos are gone today, these people are still there. There are 805 million starving people in the world. I want you to see them, through me, to help the World Food Programme.”

Ibrahimovic added: “It’s the first time I have worked publicly with any charity. If we can reach the world’s leaders, I know that we can solve together the problem of hunger in the world.”

‘Wherever I go people recognize me, call my name, cheer for me, But there are names no one cares to remember. That no one cheers for: the 805m people suffering from hunger in the world today.

‘I have the supporters all over the world. From now on I want this support to go to the people who suffer from hunger, they are the real champions. So whenever you hear my name, you will think of their names.” The Swedish footballer concluded.

Some of the names include Carmen, Mariko, Antoine, Lida, Rahma and Yaae. 
On why the prolific forward was the right man for the job, WFP director for France Marina Catena noted that he, “had this dream that someone would share this message in a simple way, beyond any barrier.

“We thought of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is often asked for autographs. Why should it not be Zlatan, this time, who wore the autographs on his skin?

“We are proud that he agreed to carry this message and that Paris Saint-Germain helped us to organise this project.”

Swedish footballer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was recently  honoured with a waxwork by his club, Paris Saint Germaine for his immense contributions. The unveiling was done on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Grevin Museum, France.
‘I took the opportunity to take a selfie with myself at the Grevin Museum in Paris. The one to the right is made of wax and the one to the left is made of steel.’ The excited striker wrote on his instagram page.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic reacts to being named the second greatest Swedish sports person of all time

PSG talisman, Zlatan Ibrahimovich has revealed his displeasure at being named the second greatest Swedish sports person of all time by  readers of Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter .
The 33 year-old who came behind tennis ace and  five-time Wimbledon champion, Bjorn Borg believes he should be occupying the top spot.‎
‘Thank you but to finish second is like finishing last. On that list I would have been No 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with due respect to the others. He is a cool person and a living legend.’

Shortly after PSG’s game with Nice on Saturday, Brazilian football legend. Ronaldo stormed the changing rooms to congratulate the Swedish player who scored the only goal in the match.
The PSG striker took some time out to discuss what it was like meeting his idol, who has inspired him in his career.
‘This was the best thing that happened last night. The best player of all times, Ronaldo. The Phenomenon.’ He wrote.‎

Luis Suarez tops Bloomberg's list of most influential footballers. See top 20

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has topped Bloomberg Sports list of most influential players. The Uruguayan who scored 31 goals and assisted 12 in 33 Premier League matches piped out the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the rankings.
