TV Personality, Stephanie Coker wows on the cover of the newly redesigned WED Magazine

WED Magazine – Nigeria’s foremost wedding magazine is out with another bumper edition and this time, its double covers bear the stunning looks of two beautiful ladies. MTV Base presenter and actress Stephanie Coker dazzles in a wedding gown as she speaks on love, her dream man and her dream wedding.

In an interesting twist, a real bride-to-be Tosin Lajuwomi also covers the magazine where she speaks on her wedding plans and the build up to her big day.

Another exciting feature in this edition is an exclusive interview with the “Say Yes To The Dress” host Randy Fenoli who speaks on several aspects of a bride’s wedding dress. There are lots of other wedding inspired features, and of course, details on the upcoming WED Expo Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt in October 2014.

Organizers of the My Big Nigerian Wedding Contest have unveiled the 10 couples who are vying for the grand prize(s) in the contest. The next agenda is to keep them in the competition. To increase couples’ chances of getting to the next stage, WED Magazine is glad to announce the commencement of the ‘Social Media Voting’ stage. Every contestant has an equal chance to get to the next stage on our various social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. If you are not following MBNWedding on any of these platforms, the time to do so is now.

Upload your picture on our Facebook page and include the Hashtag #mbnwedding; the Hashtag along with your code number which is on your url such as #mbnwedding0001; and you and your partners’ names as registered on the website.An example is this : #mbnwedding #mbnwedding0001  Nkiru Adamu & Gbenga OkonYou can now send the link of your post on our Facebook page to your friends and invite them to vote for you by liking your picture. All they have to do is to click on the ‘Like’ button on your post and it would be counted as a vote for you.

You can now invite your friends to visit our Instagram page and tell them to ‘Like’ your picture. Please note the following:

1.       The picture you upload must be that of you and your partner. If you use any other picture, it would be automatically disqualified.

2.       You must Like or Follow us on these social media platforms to participate. If you don’t, your entry will be automatically disqualified.
3.       Anyone voting for you must also like and follow our pages on the social media platform they are voting from.
4.       The Hashtags are really important as it makes it easier to count your votes. If you do not upload your picture along with the Hashtag, you stand a lesser chance of succeeding at this stage of the competition
.5.       Your code number is not the number that was sent to your phone during registration but the number on your url. To get your code number, go directly to your page on the MBNWedding site and look at the number in the Page Address/URL
.6.       At this stage, 5 couples would be chosen on Facebook, 5 on Instagram and 5 on Twitter. The Social Media votes have nothing to do with the votes you’ve already garnered on MBNWedding.com. So, this is your chance to be at par with even those contestants with thousands of votes on the website.The choice is now yours! TOP 10 CONTESTANTS OF THE 'MY BIG NIGERIAN WEDDING CONTEST' UNVEILED

These are the top 10 contestants of the ongoing ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’ contest. As voting enters its fourth week and expectations are high on who will win the N15Million wedding and an exotic honeymoon, contestants are enjoined to gather as many votes as possible to keep them going in the competition. Voting continues on www.mbnwedding.com till December 2nd so this is not the final list. Every contestant still has a good chance of getting more votes and making it to the next stage of the competition so keep the votes coming.

Voting on social media (Facebook, twitter and Instagram) would commence soon to give more couples a better chance of reaching the final stage of the competition. To make the first shortlist of 50 couples, 25 couples with the highest number of votes would be selected from the website, 5 from Facebook, 5 from Twitter and 5 from Instagram. Also, 10 contestants would be chosen by selected Judges of the competition. The Judges selection would not be based on votes at all but on the couple’s stories and other criteria.
Already over 72,000 votes have been counted from over 32,000 registered voters. We are thankful to all visitors who have taken their time out to visit the MBNWedding.com site in the past few weeks and are overwhelmed by the numbers. Over 50,000 visitors and over 450,000 clicks so far have been recorded on the site!
