FOLLOW UP: DAGRIN'S BIOPIC: VIRGIN AIRLINES MANAGEMENT RESPONDS

Just few weeks ago, Stingomania records; producers of ‘Ghetto Dreamz’ Dagrin’s biopic stated that they were sueing the Management of Virgin Atlantic Airlines to the tune of N1 billion for infringing on copyright laws by airing the film over 50 times in their international flights.
Responding to the allegation, Bennet scot, a Press Officer at their Ikeja Corporate office said the airline has no case to answer.
‘Virgin Nigeria has not infringed on any laws concerning this matter and any legal issue regarding this is to be resolved by the global production company and the producers’. He affirmed.

Ope Banwo, the CEO of Stingomania Productions, Ope Banwo, has sued Virgin Atlantic Airlines to the sum of 1 Billion Naira for Copyright Infringement.
Virgin Atlantic Airlines we garnered showed 'Ghetto Dreams' ( Dagrin's Biopic ) over 50 times on their international routes without getting authorized permission.
Reports reaching me state that apart from showing the movie on their flights, Virgin Atlantic Airlines also played the Movie in their offices and for this capital offence Ope banwo has decided to sue them to the tune of sum of 1 Billion Naira.
He has also asked the Federal High Court in Ikeja, Lagos to mandate Virgin Atlantic to apologize in 3 Nigerian dailies.
Ghetto dreams xrays the life, times and dreams of the late yoruba lyricist, Olaitan Olanipekun popularly called Dagrin. The movie cast include Racheal Oniga, Pa Kasunmu, Doris Simeon, Gabriel Afolayan, Kenny Saint Brown, Jaywon and so on.
