Premier League Players snubbed in UEFA Team Of The Year

Premier League players are completely absent from the UEFA Team Of The Year list unveiled today.  UEFA.com users who were given a chance to cast their votes for the best XI snubbed the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Sergio Aguero and David De Gea who have been influential for their respective teams. Dominating the list are players from Spain, Germany and Italy, with the highest number of players from Barcelona. The nominees list was unveiled November 2015

Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich dominate UEFA Team Of The Year nominees list.

UEFA has unveiled the nominees
for the 2015 edition of the Team of the Year award. A total of 20 players from Barcelona,
Bayern Munich and Juventus made the shortlist. Barcelona lead the pack with eight
candidates — Gerard Pique, Dani Alves,
Javier Mascherano, Ivan Rakitic, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and
Neymar.
Juventus have six Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Buffon, Leonardo
Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio, Alvaro Morata.

Bayern: Arturo Vidal, Manuel Neuer, David Alaba,
Jerome Boateng, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller.

Madrid squad in the 40-man list include Cristiano
Ronaldo Sergio Ramos, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale. 5 Premier League
players were also featured in the list Chelsea’s
Eden Hazard, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, and Manchester City trio Joe Hart, Kevin
De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero.
