Fast-rising actress, Yewande Awokoya is back with another magical piece Omo Elesho.
This is coming few months after the Babcock University graduate held her fans spellbound with her intriguing movie entitled 'Igbo Dudu'.
SYNOPSIS
Omo Elemosho dwells on a deity called Ero. Ero according to a belief is as powerful as popular deities like Sango, Obatala, Ogun and others.
And just like its counterparts, it has its own weaknesses and strengths and is worshipped mainly by the members of a community called Ijagba.
One day, a widow sought the deity's help in tracking her daughter, Tanwa who had been missing for months. According to her, if Tanwa is not found within a month, she'll be labelled a witch and consequently beheaded (according to the tradition of the land)
She however vowed to commit suicide if the powerful god fails to bring her daughter back.
With this challenge, the god, disguised in human form, sets out to a city to look for the lost girl. Its journey into civilization is filled with challenges and set backs.
Was Ero able to locate the missing girl? Was the girl destined to die young? What becomes her mother in that community?
Directed by celebrated Yoruba producer, Adebayo Tijani, the film boasts of thespians like Yomi Fash-Lanso, Bimbo Oshin, Toyin Aimakhu, Muyiwa Ademola, Ronke Ojo, Lanre Hassan, Seyi Ashekun and many more.
