FUNKE AKINDELE'S SCHOOL PRODUCES 28 GRADUATES

I bet most people don’t know she has a school. The first set of students at hardworking actress, Funke Akindele’s Scene One School of Drama, a sub unit of Jenifa Foundation established in 2011 graduated yesterday 19th December, 2013. During her keynote address, the accomplished thespian commended the graduands on their hard work and perseverance and having successfully completed their programs. She also urged them to believe in themselves, spread their wings and use the tools they have sharpened to carve a niche for themselves in the entertainment industry.
Present at the event include some of her friends and colleagues; Eniola Badmus, Tiwa Savage, Eldee, Uche Jombo, JJC, Segun Obe, Ariyike Akinbobola, Feyikemi Olayinka and Dammy Krane. She also presented prizes to best graduating students in major courses plus roles in her next flick, Everybody Loves Jenifa.
By the way, I learnt candidates can enrol with a minimum Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE) qualification, so if you’re really cut out for the drama thing, you can apply.

FACES AT TIWA SAVAGE AND TUNJI BALOGUN'S WEDDING

Nothing like seeing your dreams come true. I remember her tweet after attending a celebrity wedding few months ago, “Baby, we are next”. Tiwa Savage was all smiles and respledent on her big day (well, just what we expected, abi) and her traditional outfit? She looked flawless and simply ravishing in them. Her husband Tunji Balogun spruced up in a white Agbada also looked amazing. The strictly-by-invitation ceremony was held at The Ark Vicinity, located at Okunade Bluewater, Lekki, today November 23rd, 2013.

The ceremony which had all the trappings of wealth had in attendance dignitaries from all walks of life including Nigerian celebrities like Iyanya, Dr Sid, Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Agbani Darego, Banky W, Toke Makinwa, Linda Ikeji, Eniola Badmus, Omawumi, Dayo Adeneye and a host of others.
