CHRIS ATTOH ANNOUNCES EXIT FROM TINSEL

Dark-skinned Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh has announced his exit from Mnet Africa series; Tinsel. The decision of the enterpreneur who plays the role of Kwame Mensah in the popular TV production to resign was borne out of the need to pursue other career interests.

“The last seven years on Tinsel have been an incredible journey and experience for me. Working with Mnet was phenomenal and it took a lot of deliberation but i have decided to pursue other career interests.” He said via a statement.

He’s expected to shoot his last scenes next month. His character will also be written out over the next few months.

Yaaaay! I screamed (for joy) when I first heard this gist. Florence Uwaleke and Iyke Okechukwu, popularly known as Ene and Chuks on M-Net’s Tinsel series had their traditional wedding ceremony on Friday 25th January 2013.

It’s good to learn the two Tinsel lovebirds are getting married for real. Oh Nice! I remember their traditional wedding in the series, so it was also going to be real. Awww! How sweeet! #okbye.

ROMANTIC-COMEDY, FLOWER GIRL HITS THE CINEMA ON VALENTINE'S DAY

One of the exciting ways to enjoy the forthcoming Valentine’s day is by visiting the cinema to see this romantic-comedy, Flower Girl.
The film will have its premiere on 13th February with a red-carpet event at the Silverbird Cinemas on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island.
Produced and Directed by Michelle Bello and co-produced by Michael Dede, FLOWER GIRL, tells the story of Kemi, a shy florist, who is desperate to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Umar. Umar suddenly breaks up with her and leaves her devastated. To get him back, she teams up with an ally.
Starring Eku Edewor, Damilola Adegbite, Chris Attoh, Patrick Doyle, Teni Aofiyebi, Bikiya Graham Douglas and Chuks Chukwujekwu, also starring in the film are Patrick Doyle, Teni Aofiyebi and Tosan Edremoda-Ugbeye.
