Top 10 highest paid soccer coaches in the world.

Well, I honestly don’t understand what criteria this people used to draw up their list cos just last December, Bayern Munich’s Pep Guardiola was named the highest paid coach in the world, how he’s now crawled into no 8 spot is a bit puzzling.

According to CP, former Brazil National team coach, Felipe Scolari has been named the highest paid soccer coach in the world. The tenth person on the list is Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger.

(1) Luiz Felipe Scolari – €61.6m

(2) Jose Mourinho – €11.0m

(3) Fabio Capello – €11.0m

(4) Roberto Mancini – €6.0m

(5) Carlo Ancelotti – €6.0m

(6) Manuel Pellegrini – €5.5m

(7) Louis Van Gaal – €5.2m

(8) Pep Guardiola – €5.1m

(9) Guus Hiddink – €5.0m

(10) Arsene Wenger – €4.8m

If I were to read most minds, some coaches should earn better than their current pay. Sir Alex Ferguson, I understand is signing a new contract which is expected to upgrade his salary to £6.5m a year and a £1m bonus thus making him Britain’s fourth highest paid manager.
