Photo: Check out the hilarious part of the Real Madrid/Almeria game tonight

Seeing Double! I’m certain Real Madrid fans battled their eyelids and probably had a good laugh this night after spotting two of their players Fabio Coentrao and James Rodriguez trying to take throw-ins at the same time.
This hilarious incident happened during the Los Blancos’ clash with Almeria at the Bernabeu few hours back. Sport pundits described it as football’s first ever synchronised throw-ins and the next evolution in soccer.
This is my sport photo of the week.

Zinedine Zidane confirms Raheem Sterling is on Real Madrid's radar

‎French football legend and the Los Blancos B team manager, Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Liverpool player, Raheem Sterling is on Real Madrid’s watch list.

We know who Raheem Sterling is, and of course we are monitoring him as a player.  There are very few players in the world who can improve the Real Madrid squad, so it is going to make sense we monitor the progress of the best young players in the world. We monitored [Gareth] Bale for over a year, the same with Isco and also [Raphaël] Varane.
“We monitor many of the best young players in Europe, then if we feel they have something to offer Real Madrid we will contact their club and try and make the next step.” He said

"People hated Madrid during Mourinho's reign" Pepe

Real Madrid defender, Pepe in an interview with Radio station Cadena Cope, outlined the coaching styles of former manager, Jose Mourinho and the incumbent one Carlo Ancelotti. He revealed that albeit Carlo is not lenient, his training sessions are much more challenging than that of the Chelsea boss.

“I think our training sessions under Ancelotti are much more intensive than they were under Mourinho. For instance, we did very demanding exercises that we didn’t do with Mourinho.

“We have to climb uphill and it’s very hard. Every manager has his own methods but for me is much harder to do that than training with the ball for 20 minutes.

“Ancelotti is not too lenient with us. He has a very distinguished curriculum and he demands a lot from us. Ancelotti will continue, there’s no doubt about that. He’s a great coach and in a short space of time has brought us a lot of happiness.

“Whenever we play at another ground in Spain, we can sense people don’t hate us like they used to when the other manager was with us. I am not criticising Mourinho but it is what I think.

Today, Madrid is a very big club; we’ve cleaned up our image. Now Isco gets an ovation when he goes off – that would have been unthinkable before.”

Distraught Cristiano Ronaldo won't speak to the media until after the season

World best footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo may have set a new UEFA scoring record last night in the game involving Madrid and Schalke but the Portuguese is not close to happy at the moment.
Albeit the Galacticos lost 4-3 last night and won by 5-4 on aggregate, their stuttering form for the past few weeks have left many, most especially fans unimpressed.
The talisman didn’t celebrate after he netted a brace and was captured shaking his head and telling his team mate Benzema the whole situation is very embarrassing.
Spanish reporters who walked up to him afterwards were not only snubbed by the distraught footballer but got a shocking response. “No hablo hasta final de temporada”. Meaning “I won’t talk again till the end of the season.”

Gareth Bale reveals the worst things about playing for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale may be loving life in Spain but there are certain things he’s not enjoying.
The first is being booed by his teammates in training and the sight of Spanish spiders.
The ex Tottenham player opened up in an interview with Four Four Two Magazine.

“The one thing you don’t want is to be on the end of is a nutmeg. Whenever someone gets nutmegged, we’re all jumping and joking around.

If you get ‘megged, or you go 20 passes without touching the ball, you stay in for an extra go. They’ll do anything to keep you in the middle.”
The world’s most expensive player ‎cannot stand the sight of spiders too.

“I call out to somebody, anybody, to come and deal with a spider, just so I don’t have to.”‎ He declared ‎

Madrid bans 17 fans for anti-barca/Messi chants

Anti-barca/Messi chants during a non-clasico match? Interesting!
In a bid to combat violence in football and escape being fined and charged by the Spanish FA, Spanish giants, Real Madrid have banned 17 fans from Santiago Bernabeu for starting songs insulting Barcelona FC and their star player, Lionel Messi.
The “Fuck Barca and Messi Retard” chants started during their clash with Celta Vigo few days back. Erring fans have been punished and banned from both stadium and other club activities.
Asides closing a part of the stands where the chants emanated from, 1500 supporters have also been told via letters not to engage in such act.

'I was called a traitor and a mole' – Iker Casillas opens up on stormy relationship with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid

Looks like Jose Mourinho had a turbulent relationship with all the players at Real Madrid. The spanish club’s goalkeeper Iker Casillas has also opened up on his whirlwind relationship with the Chelsea Manager. According to the Spaniard, the problem started at a certain Christmas period and it became worse after Casillas’ wife, Sara Carbonero a TV presenter reported a dressing room unrest on air.

“In the summer of 2012, our relationship was good, we talked a lot, but then there was a change around Christmas. The team wasn’t doing well and my relationship with Mourinho became poor. We had disagreements, but with respect.”

“Mourinho didn’t say anything to me about Sara’s words, but it was easy to notice a change in our relationship. Soon, I got injured and after two weeks, I noticed the attacks. I was called a traitor and a mole.

“I feel it was a bit unfair to call me a mole but I have to understand that and accept some people’s opinions.

It was hard to be called a mole and I like to think that neither Mourinho nor the president Florentino Perez really believed this.”

He continued, “I have the utmost respect for Mourinho but when there is one thing bothering you or one thing you don’t like, you have to discuss it. We never told Florentino that we wanted Mourinho to leave.

“He’s one of the best coaches I’ve had. A guy with character. It hurts me when my loyalty to Real Madrid is questioned – this club have given me everything.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho resume feud

The feud between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho has resumed and from the look of things, there’s no ending to it at least pretty soon. It all started few days back when the Portuguese coach was asked to comment the CR7 to Chelsea rumours.

The Special One’s reply wasn’t really surprising. “You would not find us hanging around together. The relationship does not exist, but the remembrance of his impact.” He replied

Ronaldo on the other hand can never be bothered about his former boss.

“Mourinho? What he says is not important. I only think about Real Madrid. I want to help them, the other things I do not care about.” He added.

Cristiano Ronaldo reacts to Real Madrid exit reports

To everyone asking if Cristiano Ronaldo is really considering reuniting with his former club, Manchester United, the Portuguese star has reiterated his commitment to his current club, Real Madrid.

He told a reporter, “It’s nothing important, what’s important is Madrid. On a personal level, things are going well and I want to help this shirt. I don’t see a need to talk about things outside the club. It’s all speculation, speaking about my future… My future is Madrid. I’m happy. The season is going well and I’m not talking about my future, it doesn’t make sense.”
