Manchester United winger, Angel Di Maria has finally completed a move to Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint Germain for a fee of €63M. The 27 year old signed a four year contract and has become the French champions’ biggest summer buy after sealing his transfer just a year after he
joined United as their record signing. The Argentina international passed a medical in Doha, Qatar, bringing his Old Trafford career to a conclusion after one season and at a loss of almost £16m in transfer fees.
Di Maria told PSG’s official website: “I am very proud, and can’t wait to wear the colours of Paris Saint-Germain. I want to win every competition we enter, both in France and Europe.
“I want to win the Champions League, which is a dream for all footballers, for a second time. We will do everything we can to bring Europe’s biggest trophy to France and the fans of Paris Saint-Germain.”

The former Benfica winger becomes the fifth senior player to leave United this summer after Robin van Persie, Nani, Tom Cleverley, Rafael da Silva and Radamel Falcao, who was on loan at Old Trafford last season.

Di Maria has expressed his delight to join the club and his readiness to help the club with his abilities.
“I am very happy to join PSG. What I know about PSG is that it is a team that won all the possible trophies in France last season,” Di Maria was quoted as saying by BeIN Sports.

“This is very important for the club. I also know that I want to overcome the obstacle that is the quarter-finals of the Champions League. I am going to try to bring the best of my abilities to put myself at the service of this team. We are going to try and go as far as possible in the Champions League.”

Di Maria failed to reunite with his teammates at the end of his Copa America break and went to an unknown location according to manager of the club, Louis Van Gaal. United will take a significant hit on the £59.1 million that they paid to acquire Di Maria from Real Madrid last summer, but may subsequently intensify efforts to sign Pedro from Barcelona, with Louis van Gaal revealing his admiration for the Spaniard on Sunday.
Di Maria made just 32 appearances in all competitions for United last season, scoring four goals and providing 12 assists.

Although Barcelona are currently banned from signing any player since 2016, the club is confident of signing him come January.
