Yaya Toure's agent fires back at Guardiola

Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has issued a response to Pep Guardiola’s
apology demands. Angered by Dimitri’s comments about him, the Spaniard today issued
an ultimatum to the midfielder saying until his agent apologizes to the club, his teammates and the trainer,Yaya is out from the team”. Well, Yaya’s agent has fired back, stating conditions for tendering his
apology.
“What do I need to apologise for? Guardiola wins a
few games and he thinks he is king. I live in Europe so I can say whatever I
like and Guardiola can’t stop me.
“Okay, I will apologise to Guardiola if he will
apologise to Pellegrini for what he did to him. If you are a gentleman, this
just does not happen.
“Pellegrini signed a new contract last year and
then he gets pushed out for Guardiola to come in. Pellegrini was a gentleman.
“Guardiola also needs to apologise to Joe Hart. It
is not normal and it is not right to come to England and to get rid of the few
English players. When you come to a country you must respect the country and
respect its people.”

He continued, “When Yaya went to Man City, they could only
dream about the Champions League. The biggest stars in Europe did not want to
come to City, but Yaya came. They weren’t a big club. After he arrives they
started winning; two league titles, cups and now the semis of the Champions
League. I want Man City to win everything; to win all their games because it
means more trophies for Yaya. City have great players, but Guardiola wants new
future for Yaya, for Hart…and they won’t be the last. I respect managers like
Claudio Ranieri who achieve without spending so much money on players.”

Toure won't play until he apologises – Guardiola

The recent nasty
comments Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk made about the club’s manager, Pep
Guardiola definitely didn’t go unnoticed by the latter. A week ago, Seluk accused the ex-Barcelona coach pf humiliating his client (during
their spells at Barcelona) adding that he hopes the Ivorian gets a chance to prove himself at the English club. The 33 year-old who just retired from international duty has made one appearance for City this season and was dropped from Champions League squad, sparking .

If
(Guardiola) wins the Champions League for City this season then I will
travel to England and I will say on television that Pep Guardiola is the best
manager in the world.
But if City
don’t win the Champions League then I hope that Pep has got the balls to say
that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya.
Yaya is a
professional and so he will do everything he is asked to do.
What I can
tell you is that Yaya will spend the season at City. He will not be leaving in
January. He hopes that he will get the chance to prove himself.

 In Man City’s press
conference today, the Spaniard Pep made it clear that Yaya Touré will not play
again for City until the club receives an apology from the agent.

‘It was so difficult for me to leave
him out of the Champions League, so difficult. I know him and I know he’s a
good guy.
‘The day after his manager spoke and
in that moment Yaya is out. Except Mr Dimitri Seluk comes back in the press
conference or to his friends in the media – because he hasn’t the courage to
call me, he goes to the media – and apologise to Manchester City first of all,
then his team-mates, and afterwards the trainer.
‘When that happens Yaya will be part
of the group and he will have the chance to play. I cannot accept as a coach
every agent (who) when his player doesn’t play he goes to the media and speaks.
I know how much Dimitri Seluk loves Yaya Toure. If he loves him, show me by
apologising to Manchester City for what he did in the papers.

‘I cannot imagine in my day when a
player’s agent would go to the media and speak against Johan Cruyff. Maybe
it’s the new era but I’m old generation, and an old generation agent has to
make his players his job and the coach his job.
‘Today agents believe they are more
than they are. If you have a problem, we can talk. Until he speaks, Yaya isn’t
going to play.’

 The former
Bayern boss affirmed.

Guardiola would be happy to share a glass of wine with Mourinho

Guardiola (centre) says he will have a glass of wine with Mourinho if he is offered one
The Manchester Derby is one of the hottest topics discussed
in football circles right not. The reason isn’t far-fetched. The managers of
both teams would go head to head for the first time since taking reigns at
their respective clubs. Downplaying his rivalry with Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola said he won’t turn down an offer to share wine with the Portuguese. “I’ll accept
(wine) if he invites me.  I have a lot of
respect for him. I learned from him, it’s as simple as that. ‘He was
my coach, the assistant with Bobby Robson. OK it was not easy at Barcelona. We
met each other two weeks ago at the manager’s meeting and we spoke with Koeman,
Pulis and so on
.

And his expectations in the forthcoming game, the former Bayern Munich manager
added,
‘I want to control the game, concede few counter attacks. I would like to play
the way we did in the last five games. United are getting better, like us. They
have a lot of talent. Martial is so fast, Mata in between the lines. Set pieces
with the tall guys it is impossible to control. They are a top team.’

Yaya Toure left out of Manchester City Champions League roster

Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has left Ivorian midfielder, Yaya Toure out of his squad for the Champions League group stages.
The 33 year-old has not featured in any of City’s Premier League games so far this season and from the look of things, he might not be an integral part of the Spaniard’s plans.

Guardiola lacks common decency in his treatment of Joe Hart -Joey Barton:

Rangers midfielder, Joey Barton is far from impressed with
Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola over his treatment of Manchester City
goalkeeper Joe Hart. Hart wasn’t included in the starting line-up for Pep’s
first matches in charge amidst claims he will soon be replaced with Barcelona
goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo.
The former City
player considers Pep’s actions towards the player who has spent 10 years at the
club disgusting.
He told talkSPORT.
“It
is not the club I left. The club I left and watch now are two totally different
organisations.
The club I
played for wouldn’t have treated a player that had been a servant for as long
as Joe has in the manner that it has.
It is common human decency, regardless of how good a
coach you are. Why treat him like that?
He continued, “He is a full international, somebody
who, probably before City took the money, could have gone on to bigger and
better things himself but stayed and wanted to be at City.
I don’t see what he has done wrong to be
treated the way he has. His attitude isn’t terrible. I don’t like this.
I’ve watched Caballero and are you
telling me Caballero is better with his feet than Joe Hart? I haven’t seen it.
Why not let him fight for his place and
then if he is not good enough say: ‘I have given him an opportunity’. That’s
what every manager should do, give everyone an opportunity.”

Pep Guardiola surprises young Manchester City fan in a taxi

Braydon Brent, a 7 year-old Manchester City fan got the shock of his life after finding himself at the back of a taxi with the club’s new manager, Pep Guardiola.

In The YouTube video which was titled ‘Pep’s Taxi’, he had believed he would be sharing the ride with CityTV presenter Chappy, but he later found out that there was an unexpected VIP guest on board. After settling down, the chap then asked where  the former Bayern Munich boss series of questions. He started by asking where City would keep all their trophies.

Now we’ve got you, we’re going to win them all. We’re going to win all the trophies… where are we going to put them all?” He said

Guardiola replied: ‘Are you sure? Okay, we’re going to try.’

Then came another impossible request
“I know Messi’s your friend, You might give him a call and see if he wants to join us and have a fun time?’

The 45 year-old has always been practical when it comes to Messi- City talk. So his reply was expected.

Would be nice huh? But maybe it’s a little bit difficult.’
After the little boy was done with the grilling, he helped him get his seat-belt on at the start of their journey and then took selfies with him.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly introducing this new rule at Manchester City

A source close to Manchester City has claimed that the new boss, Pep Guardiola has warned his new players against bringing pizza in the dressing room and eating out with WAGS after games.
The source which was quoted by The Sun further revealed that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach is planning to introduce a new rule that requires all players to eat together at the Etihad at least one hour after a match.
“He will want the squad to eat at the Etihad after games. He thinks it is vital for them to eat within one hour of games and even if it means telling the WAGS no dinner out tonight.
“That won’t go down too well with some of them. They usually eat pizza in the dressing room.” The source hinted.

Mourinho aims a fresh dig at Wenger during his first Manchester United press conference.

The simmering feud that won’t go away! Mourinho has launched a fresh attack at his old nemesis, Arsene Wenger during his first press conference as Manchester United.

//
Asked if he can bounce back after his Chelsea exit last December. Rather than give a direct answer, the Portuguese poked fun at the frenchman’s EPL trophyless run. “There are some managers, the last time they won a title was 10 years ago. For me, it was one year.” He said.
