Chelsea have agreed terms with Shanghai SIPG for the sale of Oscar for a fee of between £52m-£60m.
The Blues wrote on their website.
“Chelsea Football Club and Shanghai SIPG have agreed terms for the permanent transfer of Oscar. The 25-year-old will join the Chinese Super League team at the beginning of the January transfer window. He has been a Chelsea player for four-and-a-half years, helping us lift the Premier League, League Cup and Europa League as well as scooping two Chelsea Goal of the Season awards after stunning strikes against Juventus in 2012, on his full debut, and QPR in 2014. Skillful and tenacious, Oscar has been highly regarded by fans, players and staff during his time as a Blue, scoring 38 times from 203 Chelsea appearances.
“A summer 2012 arrival from Internacional in his native Brazil, Oscar made his debut as a sub away at Wigan before announcing himself with a dipping, bending effort against Antonio Conte’s Juventus at Stamford Bridge. He now heads to Shanghai to link up with former Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas. “We thank Oscar for his wonderful service and wish him the very best of luck for the future.”

Chelsea forward, Oscar has penned a new 5 year-deal at the Stamford Bridge. The 23 year-old who joined the Blues from Internacional in 2012 spoke of his commitment to the Chelsea on the club’s official website.
“I am so happy because I love playing for Chelsea and living in England, I have enjoyed playing here for two years, and now I have five more, so I am very happy.” The Brazilian said.

Chelsea hero, Didier Drogba is not only back to Stamford Bridge, he has also reclaimed his number 11 jersey. Brazilian playmaker, Oscar who used to use the number has dropped it for the Ivorian.
Oscar is taking on the number 8 shirt vacated by Frank Lampard who left the club during the summer.
Drogba wrote on Chelsea website, “I am very pleased to be able to return to the number 11 shirt and I am very grateful to Oscar for allowing me to make this change.”
“Didier is a Chelsea legend and a senior player. I am happy for him to take the 11 and for me to take the 8. Lamps is another legend at this club and I hope I will be as successful in the shirt as he was.” Oscar wrote.

The Brazilian star on why he ate the banana. “I’m in Spain for 11 years now and it happens since the start. You have to laugh at them. I don’t know who threw the banana but I want to thank him. It gave me the energy to put two more crosses in for our goals.”
