'Don’t use your generator for 1 month' – Ben Murray-Bruce challenges Fashola, Amaechi others

Hours after new Nigerian Ministers and their portfolios were unveiled, Senator Ben Murray Bruce has challenged them to hit the ground running and work towards improving the sectors they have been assigned to. Adopting the hashtag #ChallengeOurMinister, the enterpreneur challenged the Ministers of Transportation and Power, Babatunde Fashola and Rotimi Amaechi to use public transport at least once in a month and also avoid the use of a generator ( to feel the pains of the masses). A total of 19 ministerial nominees were forwarded to the upper legislative house by President Muhammadu Buhari were cleared by The Senate today. The President withdrew the name of immediate past Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto from the list. The two outstanding nominees are former governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi, and a former Oyo State commissioner, Adebayo Shittu.

The most-anticipated Ministerial list in the world is finally out. Names featured on the 21-member list has already been speculated and reported in the media. The names were announced by Senate President, Bukola Saraki today.
The nominees include former governor of Rivers state Rotimi Amaechi, Dr Ogbonaya Onu, the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Emmanuel Kachikwu, Abubakar Malami SAN, Abdulrahman Dambazau,  Aisha Jamai, Lai Mohammed, Babatunde Fashola, Adebayo Shitu, Solomon Dalong and Chris Ngige.
