The Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week seals new sponsorship deal

The organizers of the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week  (NSFDW) are pleased to announce Wema Bank Nigeria as one of its leading sponsors at the 2016 edition. The sponsorship deal was eventually sealed on the 28th of July at the Wema Bank headquarters in Lagos.
In a chat with Mrs Odili Onome; Head of Brand, Marketing Communications, Wema bank she said the bank is passionate about empowering the creative youths in the country and the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week provides the right platform for the bank to support young entrepreneurs in the Nigerian fashion industry, a sector that is evolving quite rapidly.
The Bank will also be rewarding the most creative Designer of the  Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week with startup funds and SME packages for the other participants.
The event is scheduled to hold on the 12th and 13th of August at the Indoor Sports Hall of the University of Lagos, Akoka by 4pm each day with Red carpet by 3pm and it is expected to showcase 30 designers to an audience of over 2000 people.
 Tickets are sold for N500 for students, N1000 for Regulars and N5000 for VIPs, they will be available for sale at the venue.

All is set for the Nigerian Student Fashion and Design Week season 2

Organizers of the Nigerian Student Fashion & Design Week are warming up for a bigger and better event this year. The season two of the fashion event will hold on the 5th& 6th June 2014 at the University of lagos. Produced by BlackNBold Fashion House, Africa Fashion Week London & Mahogany Productions & Events, the NSFDW team has over 20 years of local and international fashion show production experience.
The NSFDW has become one of the most recognized fashion events within the Nigerian fashion industry calendar and it is definitely the fashion insiders’ one to watch. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for new and up‐and‐coming designers to showcase to one of the biggest fashion markets in Nigeria, this being the student, young and trendy upwardly mobile young generation. It also affords buyers and the press an opportunity to get an early glimpse of the fashion names of the future.
During the season one which was extremely successful and sold out, organizers worked closely with a large number of brands and partners and developed a number of key partnerships. The event will feature over 48 students/aspiring designers from across Nigeria over a two day period as well as over 30 exhibitors that would be showcasing their creativity.
