Even as the year is running to an abrupt end, pretty Nollywood actress and Glo ambassador Monalisa is still counting her blessings. A month ago, the single mother was made the face of CARNIRIV, an annual internationally acclaimed Port Harcourt carnival, now she has just landed an endorsement deal believed to be worth about 30million naira.
The Rivers State indigene is now the face of Vita 500, an energy drink from South Korea currently in circulation in Nigeria and some West African countries.
RITA DOMINIC WINS AFRIFF'S ARIK AIRLINE ACTRESS

The African International Film Festival(AFRIFF) awards which took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki saw beautiful Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic emerge the winner of the Arik Airline Awards category for Best Actress. She won through a lucky dip by ex-Miss World Agbani Darego.
Hosted by Big Brother anchor, IK Osakioduwa and Rita Dominic, other actresses who were nominated with the Imo-State indigene are Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke, Omoni Oboli, Funke Akindele and many others.
By winning the award, Arik Airline will fly her to the Tribeca Film Festival scheduled for New York in 2012.

CARNIRIV isn’t a beauty product neither has our delectable Nollywood actress secured a modelling contract. Its simply an annual internationally acclaimed Port harcourt carnival. And the ‘Kiss and Tell’ star being a Rivers indigene has been adopted as the face of the exciting event.
Now in its fourth season, the event is scheduled to take place on December 13, 2011, at the Carnival Village, Liberation Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, with the theme, ‘Our culture, Our future’.
Line up of activities include a colourful opening ceremony, children’s parade, cultural performance and a host of others.
To deepen the message of peace and security consciousness, the River State government in a specila pre-carnival activity will host the grand finale of the Miss Ecowas peace pageant on 10th December, meanwhile beauty contestants within the ECOWAS region will soon arrive Port Harcourt.
