Manchester United player becomes world's fastest footballer. (See top ten list)

FIFA has released it’s list of the fastest footballers in the world. A Manchester United player came tops! Not Wayne Rooney, Van Persie, Evra or other big names in the Red Devils’ squad. Its Antonio Valencia. I’m sure no one was really looking towards his direction.

FIFA determined this based on the highest recorded speed of a player in a game whilst in possession of the ball. With a speed of 35.1 km/h, Valencia beat the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Franck Ribery and co.

TOP TEN WORLD’S FASTEST FOOTBALLERS

(1.) Antonio Valencia – 35.1 km/h

(2.) Gareth Bale – 34.7 km/h

(3.) Aaron Lennon – 33.8 km/h

(4.) Cristiano Ronaldo – 33.6 km/h

(5.) Theo Walcott – 32.7 km/h

(6.) Lionel Messi – 32.5 km/h

(7.) Wayne Rooney – 31.2 km/h

(8.) Franck Ribery – 30.7 km/h

(9.) Arjen Robben – 30.4 km/h

Photos: Wrong one – Moyes out! Manchester United fans set to fly banner over Old Trafford.

Oh dear! Hell hath no fury like some fans frustrated. There are reports that some Manchester United fans have paid to hire a plane to fly over Old Trafford on Saturday displaying a banner calling for David Moyes’ sack. A press release detailing their complaints and reasons for the actions have been issued through Man United forum Red Issue.
Excerpts from the release.
“The decision to fly a plane over Old Trafford bearing the slogan ‘Wrong One: Moyes Out’ is one borne out of acute frustration. It is frustration at the poor results, lack of fight on the pitch and the unavoidable signs that David Moyes isn’t up to the highest standards required to manage Manchester United Football Club. A significant proportion of Manchester United fans have had enough and unequivocally want David Moyes sacked. Further frustration has been created from the inaccurate perception that all Manchester United fans are behind David Moyes……..”

Wayne Rooney takes a selfie with his two boys

Awww! Super cute boys. The Manchester United star who just joined photo-sharing website, Instagram posted this selfie of his two little boys, 3 year-old Kai and Klay (9month old). He captioned it ‘Chilling with my two boys’. Kai looks more like Rooney.

(Photo) Oh My! Why can't people just leave Manchester United alone

Albeit many claim it’s a brilliant photoshop but whether it was photoshopped or videostored the message is really not unfamiliar- mockery; exactly what Manchester United has been subjected to for the past few months.
The picture was circulated on twitter yesterday, 24 hours before the Red Devils’ Champions League tie with Olympiakos; it was reportedly posted by a Liverpool-based radio station Juice FM.

"We will all come out at the other end"- An open letter from David Moyes to Manchester United fans

In the wake of Red Devils’ woeful performances this season, Manchester United boss, David Moyes has written a letter of gratitude to fans for their support thus far. The former Scottish player while craving their indulgence added that the tumultuous season is not something he envisaged. He is however confident that the club will be back to winning ways again.
“While I knew that this job would be a challenge when I took it on, the difficult season we have experienced was not something that I envisaged, which I am sure is the case as well for you supporters – and my players, staff and I are desperate to compensate for that.

“You are accustomed to seeing a successful Manchester United and the backing you have given the players and me throughout the season has been incredible. Away from home the travelling fans have remained the best in the country while at Old Trafford your unwavering faith has been noticeable and hugely welcomed. Supporting your team when they are winning is easy but much harder when things are not going as well, and the loyalty you have shown us has been magnificent.”

Everywhere we turn people outside the club have a lot to say about Manchester United but we all have stuck together through some tough times this season and I firmly believe that, in the long run, we will all come out at the other end, stronger for the experiences. Everything we have been through will make us a better, stronger team and club in the future.

Over the years you have seen great winning sides here and, in time, I have absolutely no doubt that we will see great winning sides here again. A big step towards that will be transforming Old Trafford back into the fortress it has long been renowned as, and we will do everything in our power to get the positive performances and results to do that, so that we can give you Season Ticket holders and all our supporters something to shout about.

Signed

David Moyes

MANCHESTER CITY'S LATE BRACE DASHES MANCHESTER UNITED'S 20TH TITLE HOPES

For their first time in 44 years and in what can be described as a magical but thrilling manner, Manchester City’s brace at the stoppage time has landed them the 2011/2012 English premier League title.

Their victory which was delivered through Edin Dzeko& Sergio Aguero, came after a fierce battle with Queen Park Rangers.

Manchester United players were on the verge of celebrating their ‘imminent’ victory at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light after a 1-0 victory when news of Manchester’s ‘unexpected’ victory streamed in. I’m sure no one believed the extra minutes could give them a turn around

“Five minutes from the end I did not think we could win this game. We deserved to win this championship,” the overly excited Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini told Sky Sports.

Though both Manchester City and United finished on 89 points, the latter’s ‘sudden’ goal difference gave them the prominent title.
Congrats Manchester City!!! Yaya Toure couldn’t have had a better 29th birthday gift.
The Etihad stadium is ‘burning’ right now.

Sorry Manchester United fans, learnt you guys already printed your ’20th shirts’ (>_<)
