Kenyan movie star, Lupita and brother receive customised coke bottles

’12 Years A Slave’ star, Lupita Nyong’o and her brother Peter Nyong’o have received customised bottles of Coke courtesy of the brand’s hugely successful ‘Share a Coke’ campaign. The Share a Coke campaign will see over 1,000 names appear on all brands of Coca Cola. It will encourage people to share bottles of coke with names/nicknames of their loved ones appearing on the pack(s).

Just like award-winning novel, Half of a Yellow Sun, renowned author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s third novel – Americanah is about to be adapted on the big screen. Kenyan movie star, Lupita Nyong’o has obtained film rights for the movie version of the book.
The announcement was made yesterday May 29, 2014 at Stylist Magazine’s Stylist Book Club Inaugural Session held at the Waldorf Hilton in UK.

“Lupita Nyong’o has optioned rights for the film version of Americanah, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie confirms #stylistbookclub”. Stylist Magazine wrote on its twitter account and also posted photos of the writer signing copies of Americanah for her fans.

The buzz surrounding Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong’o lingers. The 12 Years a Slave star who recently landed a contract with Lancome Paris has been named People’s magazine’s most beautiful woman.
Here’s the Mexico-born Lupita’s initial definition of beauty, “Light skin and long, flowing, straight hair. Subconsciously you start to appreciate those things more than what you possess.” She also talked about her best compliments. “when I have been called beautiful with not one drop of makeup on. And also before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress. Happiness is the most important thing.”
