The Lagos premiere of Kunle Afolayan’s new movie, October 1 was held yesterday September 28, 2014 at the Eko Hotels&Suites Lagos. The old-school-themed event was attended by first lady of Lagos State; Dame Abimbola Fashola, Tunde Kelani, Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Funke Akindele, Segun Arinze, Kehinde Bankole, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Dakore Egbuson, Sadiq Baba, Deola Sagoe, Wole Ojo to mention a few.

Actor/singer, Gabriel Afolayan travelled down to Seychelles to shoot the video of his new single, titled Awelewa. The video was shot by his elder brother/filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.
“And it’s a Wrap! We just finished shooting the video from Gabriel Afolayan’s new single coming out soon called “Awelewa” . Video entirely shot in Seychelles. Thanks to Africa film factory, Government of Seychelles for the super support, Yureni (Actress from Shrimlanka, shaili the choreography from india, the Dancing group of Seychelles, and the entire crew from Shrimlanka and Seychelles. Ace filmmaker, Tunde Kelani has joined the Nigerian Government/Ministry of Health who are intensifying awareness campaign to enlighten people on the deadly Ebola virus. Movie Moments gathered that the award-winning cinematographer was reportedly contacted by a UK-based international health organization to shoot the campaign ad.
Nollywood actors working on the project include Kunle Afolayan, Toyin Aimakhu, Halima Abubakar, Yomi Fash Lanso, Funky Mallam and many more.
