Drogba is making controversial statements to sell his book – Mourinho

Week in Week Out, he grabs the headlines, I’m yet to see a football club manager who revels in the spotlight as Jose Mourinho does. The Chelsea manager has taken a jab at his former player, Didier Drogba, who launched his autobiography, ‘Committment’ recently.
The Ivorian had claimed during an interview that the Chelsea dressing room was full of “big names, big players and big characters” during his time at the club.
The Blues Manager said the Montreal Impact forward’s controversial quotes is a ploy to sell his books.
When you speak because you want to sell books, I don’t read. I don’t read. I like good interviews. I like interviews from big guys like Didier with good journalists, newspapers or television. But this is not an interview. It was to sell books.
The Portuguese said, “It doesn’t disappoint me. It was just the reality. It was just to sell books. I can analyse Didier’s interview with pleasure, but not Didier selling books.”

Oh my! Ex-Chelsea defender takes Jose Mourinho to the cleaners

Ex Chelsea defender, Paul Parker has launched a scathing attack on Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho for criticizing a former Chelsea player, Graeme Le Saux. Speaking before his team’s Champions League clash with Maccabi Tel-Aviv on Tuesday, the Portuguese manager had pointed out that, “I didn’t have a single problem within the squad. I didn’t have a Graeme Le Saux. I had everybody without fears, just wanting to come.”

Infuriated by the comments Park told The Sun: “Jose Mourinho just can’t help himself, can he? It’s horrible to see. Mourinho had actually gone out of the spotlight a little bit in the last few weeks, and there was a part of me that wondered if he’d finally realised that silence is golden, and that a manager can act with dignity and respect.

“Obviously, that was a pipe dream.”

He continued: “But what else would you expect of Mourinho?

“What else would you expect of a man who stayed safely behind one of his colleagues during a touchline row, but reached around and poked opposition coach Tito Vilanova in the eye… and later tried to justify it?

“That incident has always summed him up, to me; he’s like the kid at school who watches a playground fight from a safe distance, then sidles up quickly to kick one of the fighters in the stomach when he’s sprawled on the floor.”

Mourinho explains why he wants Arsenal dumped out of Champions League

Chelsea won their last two games, little wonder why Mourinho is back trolling his ‘favourite’ team. The Chelsea Manager is keen on seeing The Gunners crash out of the Champions League, well not like he has never wanted this but this additional reason is quite astonishing…typical of the Special One though.
The English outfit can still make the knockout stages if they beat Olympiakos by a 2-goal margin in Athens in December.
He said: “Arsenal are in a group where a kid friend of mine, Marco Silva, is the manager of Olympiakos. It would be fantastic for the kid’s career to go through, so I have to be honest and say that I would like the kid and Olympiakos to go on.”

Mourinho loses appeal against £50,000 fine and stadium ban

Awww! Sometimes one is tempted to believe that there is a campaign against Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho in football.lol. The FA Appeal Board has dismissed the Portuguese’s appeal over his £50,000 fine and one-match stadium ban.
The ex Real Madrid coach was punished for comments made after Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to West Ham.
The FA wrote on their official website. “An Appeal Board has dismissed the appeal from Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho in relation to a decision made by an Independent Regulatory Commission,”

“At the original commission hearing, Mr Mourinho was given a suspended one-match stadium ban and fined £50,000 after he admitted a breach of FA Rules in relation to post-match comments made following the game against Southampton on Saturday 3 October 2015.

“The Appeal Board has upheld the original sanction and therefore it remains that Mr Mourinho’s suspended stadium ban will be immediately invoked should he be found by an Independent Regulatory Commission to have committed a further breach of FA Rule E3 for any comment or statement to or through the media before 13 October 2016.”

Mourinho needs to stop embarrassing himself- Jamie Carragher.

Liverpool
legend, Jamie Carragher has advised Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho to focus more
on improving their performances rather than pointing accusing fingers at
referees. He also suggested that the players should take more responsibility for the team’s woes.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, the football pundit said “He has to change some things and these
interviews have got to stop, because they’re embarrassing him and they’re
embarrassing the club. Maybe he’s trying to create a siege mentality but I
don’t think the players would be totally agreeing with the manager, blaming
referees. Chelsea were very poor at the weekend. This paranoia has got to stop
that ‘the world is against them’, because they’re not.”
He
continued, “I’m a massive fan of Jose Mourinho and I’d like him to stay
because there’s been too many changes in the past at Chelsea. These players’
performances have been shocking. It’s about time we took more of a look at
them. The manager is always in the spotlight.”

Fabregas denies staging a revolt against Mourinho

Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has denied rumours making rounds that he is leading a revolt against the club’s coach, Jose Mourinho following the Portuguese’s treatment of the former team Doctor, Eva Carneiro. Below is a report fromThe Secret Footballer.

“Since that moment [Eva Carneiro], Mourinho’s ego has been hurt and has demanded that he reinstate the presence that he had before. His ego is why he didn’t apologise, when he most certainly should have. What has happened since has been the total and utter abandonment of Mourinho and his philosophy by the players.Mourinho is bang to rights and the players know it, so they are now trying to make their point on the pitch.I have it on the best authority possible that the players have told the manager that they hate the way they play.

They hate the way they have to sit back against inferior opposition, they hate the way they aren’t allowed to express themselves.”I’m told that Cesc Fabregas is the leader of that mini-revolt. And as a player, you do things like this when you know you are in the right You try your luck. Why not? It’s your way of saying to the manager ‘you can either listen to us, and give the go ahead to change and give us what we want, or we’ll keep serving you up the same old s**t and embarrass you.’
The Spanish footballer however took to his official twitter account to set the records straight.
“I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager. There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.” The 28 year-old wrote

Weeks after Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was cleared by the Football Association of using discriminatory language towards Chelsea’s former team doctor, Eva Carneiro, there are reports that  Eva is taking legal actions against the embattled Blues coach .The 42-year-old was publicly criticized by the Portugues for treating Eden Hazard during the 2-2 draw with Swansea City on the opening day of the season. Mourinho had claimed that Carneiro didn’t understand the game. His outburst, Eva had claimed was contributed to her being stripped of match-day duties.
Sky Sports News learnt that  will take legal action against Mourinho, and legal papers will be served on the Portugese coach this week as part of separate but connected claims against him and against the club. Mourinho will have to appear in person at an employment tribunal unless the case is settled out of court in advance.

Mourinho brands FA fine 'a disgrace', takes a dig at Wenger

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is obsessed with his archival, Arsene Wenger. He (more recently) never misses an opportunity to throw shades at the french man.
The Portuguese coach has branded his recent fine and one-match stadium ban by Football Association (FA) fine a “disgrace” after being ordered to pay £50,000. He was handed the hefty punishment yesterday after he claimed officials were afraid to award his team penalties after referee Robert Madley denied Chelsea a penalty during their 3-1 loss to Southampton.
The 52-year-old said that it could  have only been worse if he was made to wear an electronic tag.

“I’m happy I don’t have an electronic tag. £50,000 is a disgrace. The possibility of getting a stadium ban is astonishing.”

“Afraid costs £50,000. Weak and naive – you can do it,” He added, taking a dig at the Arsenal coach who was unpunished for calling Mike Dean “weak” and “naive” following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat by Chelsea last month. “We can push people in the technical area. We can, no problem.” He chipped in.

Jose Mourinho charged with misconduct.

Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho has been charged by the FA with misconduct for claiming referees are afraid to give penalties to Chelsea. The self-acclaimed Special One made the statement in a post-match interview after his team lost 3-1 against Southampton.
The ex Real Madrid manager had said, “I think it is time to be honest and say clearly that referees are afraid to give decisions to Chelsea. At 1-1 there is a huge penalty and once more we do not get it. It was at a crucial moment in the game. I repeat, if the FA wants to punish me they can punish me, it is not a problem.”
The FA in a statement said: “It is alleged his remarks constitute improper conduct in that they allege and/or imply bias on the part of a match official or match officials and/or bring the game into disrepute.”
The Portuguese has until 6pm on Thursday 8 October 2015 to respond to the charge.‎

Jose Mourinho receives full backing from the club despite poor start

English club, Chelsea have once again reiterated their support for under-fire manager Jose Mourinho despite his poor start. Mourinho has come in for much criticism of late with his side sitting 16th in the Premier League table, having recorded just two victories from eight games so far this term.
Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton was the latest disappointing result, with the Portuguese saying in the aftermath that he would resign if he lost his players’ trust.
However, Chelsea released a statement on Monday saying that they believe Mourinho is the right man to turn their fortunes around.

“The club wants to make it clear that Jose continues to have our full support,”
“As Jose has said himself, results have not been good enough and the team’s performances must improve. “However, we believe that we have the right manager to turn this season around and that he has the squad with which to do it.” The statement read.
