So Funke Akindele’s husband, Abdulrasheed ‘JJC’ Bello turned 40 today, April 4, 2017. Her birthday message is the most heartwarming message you’ll read all day. Here it goes.

‘Thanks for always being selfless, you are forever ready to share your knowledge with anyone. God bless and protect you always BOLARINDE, I love you boo.’ she wrote on Instagram.

FUNKE AKINDELE'S SCHOOL PRODUCES 28 GRADUATES

I bet most people don’t know she has a school. The first set of students at hardworking actress, Funke Akindele’s Scene One School of Drama, a sub unit of Jenifa Foundation established in 2011 graduated yesterday 19th December, 2013. During her keynote address, the accomplished thespian commended the graduands on their hard work and perseverance and having successfully completed their programs. She also urged them to believe in themselves, spread their wings and use the tools they have sharpened to carve a niche for themselves in the entertainment industry.
Present at the event include some of her friends and colleagues; Eniola Badmus, Tiwa Savage, Eldee, Uche Jombo, JJC, Segun Obe, Ariyike Akinbobola, Feyikemi Olayinka and Dammy Krane. She also presented prizes to best graduating students in major courses plus roles in her next flick, Everybody Loves Jenifa.
By the way, I learnt candidates can enrol with a minimum Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE) qualification, so if you’re really cut out for the drama thing, you can apply.

JJC'S 'WE ARE AFRICANS' NOMINATED IN THE ZIMBABWEAN ACHIEVERS AWARDS

The Zimbabwe version of the popular ‘We are African’ song has earned energetic singer Abdulrasheed Bello stage-named JJC (of the famous London-based JJC music squad) a nomination in the Zimbabwean Achievers’ Awards.

Come April 28, 2012 the multi-talented producer and video director who was nominated in the best video category of the Awards would be slugging it out with the likes of Zimbabwean artistes Juss Russ, Money B, Cythia Mare, Farai Muvuti and All stars at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel London.

It would be recalled that the song which is still an anthem on the lips of both young and old was first recorded in London two years ago.
The song has been adapted for five countries including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone and Ghana. 

9ICE, FUNKE AKINDELE, BANKY W OTHERS FOR LAGOS AIDS WALK

Top Nigerian artistes, 9ice, Funke Akindele and a host of others will participate in the Lagos AIDS walk, an initiative of Child and Maternity Foundation manned by Dare Ajayi.
The walkathon initiative, scheduled for November 26 was created to celebrate the anniversary of HIV world wide.
To join ex-Governor of lagos State, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is leading the walk are Waje, Chidinma, JJC to mention a few.
