Jackie Chan to visit Nigeria next week

Popular honk-kong actor, Chan Kong-sang fondly called Jackie Chan would be paying a visit to Nigeria on September 4, 2015 to promote his new movie, Dragon Blade
Directed by Daniel Lee, the movie will be released in Nigeria next month through FilmOne Distribution who acquired the right to show it‎. A shout out by Jackie Chan to Nigerians will soon be unveiled and those who go to the cinemas to watch Dragon Blade will win fantastic prizes.

Jackie Chan's son leaves prison

Legendary actor, Jackie Chan’s son, Jaycee, who was sentenced to 6 months in jail last month after pleading guilty to drug offences/providing venue for drug users has left prison.
According to reports, he left Beijing’s Checheng prison in the early hours of today, Friday, February 13, 2015. Albeit he was sentenced in January, the court took into account the time he already spent in detention August.
The 32-year old actor is expected to hold a news conference tomorrow, February 14 to for apologies and explanation.

5 months after he was arrested for keeping more than100 grams of marijuana in his home, Jaycee Chan, son of legendary Chinese actor, Jackie Chan has been  sentenced to six months in jail.

He also pleaded guilty in a Beijing court to aiding and abetting other drug users. Ironically, his father Jackie is an anti-drug ambassador.
“I broke the law and should be punished. I hurt a lot of people. When I go back into society. I will definitely not do it again. I have been punished but that doesn’t mean I have been forgiven. I hope to use my actions to get everyone’s forgiveness.” He said after the hearing.

Famous actor Jackie Chan has finally reacted to the recent arrest of his 31 year old son, Jaycee Chan, who was detained last Thursday after grams of marijuana was discovered at his home. He was also accused of aiding and abetting other drug users
The actor who was made an anti-drug ambassador in China in 2009 apologised to the public on his personal website.

“Regarding this issue with my son Jaycee, I feel very angry and very shocked. As a public figure, I’m very ashamed. As a father, I’m heartbroken. Jaycee and I together express our deep apology to society and the public. I hope all young people will learn a lesson from Jaycee and stay far from the harm of drugs. I say to Jaycee that you have to accept the consequences when you do something wrong. As your father, I’m going to face the road together with you.’
