Henry Thierry reacts to PSG fans’ treatment of Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi’s name was booed at the Parc des Princes when his name was announced in the starting lineup as rumours continue of the Argentine’s summer return to Barcelona. French football legend, Henry Thierry, who played alongside the World Cup winner wasn’t having any of the situation.

“It’s embarrassing to hear whistles from the Parc. You can’t whistle one of the best players on the team, who has 13 goals and 13 assists this season.” He  said. He has however urged the Barcelona star to end his career at Camp Nou.

“Personally, I would like to see him finish his career at Barcelona, in Europe. After that, I don’t know what he will do. Because the way he left Barcelona after everything he did… I didn’t really like it. For the love of football, he should go back to Barcelona.” He told Amazon Prime.

Arsenal FC legend and sports pundit, Henry Thierry has been named the assistant manager of Belgium National team. He will be working alongside the team’s handler, Roberto Martinez. Thierry Henry confirms Arsenal exit

Thierry Henry has confirmed he has left his coaching role at Arsenal. The Gunners’ all-time record goalscorer reportedly fell out with Arsenal boss, after he was told to quit his TV pundit role and focus on the team’s Under-18s. But the former Barcelona player opted for his £4 million-a-year job.

“I would like to thank Andries Jonker for offering me the chance to coach the U18’s at Arsenal, which I was honoured to accept. However I respect Arsene Wenger’s decision and I want to wish their manager Kwame Ampadu, the boys and everyone at the club all the best for the forthcoming season.”

Not Messi or Ronaldo, Henry Thierry claims this Man Utd target is the best striker in the world.

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has named Bayern Munich star, Robert Lewandowski as the current best striker in the world. The polish footballer who has been in a top-notch form this season netting 16 goals in 12 appearances this season is on Manchester United’s radar. Not a few will forget his 5 goals in 9 minutes stunt against  Wolfsburg last month.

The French man has however asked The Gunners to be wary of the 27 year-old. Thierry wrote in The Sun:

“To make matters even more difficult for Arsenal, they will be up against Robert Lewandowski, the best striker in the world. Lewandowski has been producing at the very highest level for the last four or five years. I’m not talking about wingers who come inside like Messi and Ronaldo. I’m talking about a proper No.9 and Lewandowski is the best by some distance.

“That is not an accolade I hand out lightly based on the back of one good season. He did it when he was at Dortmund, he has done it for Poland and now he’s doing it for Bayern. But somehow Arsenal have to stop him.”

Arsene Wenger's reaction to Thierry Henry's suggestion that Arsenal should sign Benzema.

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has reacted to a suggestion by the club’s legend, Henry Thierry that the Gunners could win the league if they signed Benzema from Real Madrid this summer.

“I respect Thierry Henry a lot for his football knowledge but it’s not as mathematical as that. I believe we can win the league. We look when we go forward like we can score goals. Even when we were dominated in the second half against Chelsea, every time we crossed the halfway line it looked like something could happen.

“I think we have to develop our collective game and we have to depend less on one guy that comes in and scores all the goals. I don’t see why a player like Oxlade-Chamberlain should not have an ambition to score 10 goals, Sanchez can score goals and Ozil has to fix himself a target of at least 10. We can share that more than when Thierry played. I think Giroud will not be far from 20, if he had played all of last season he would have scored 20. Walcott as well.”
