Viola Davis becomes the first black actress to get 3 Oscar Nominations

There is no stopping this woman!
51 year-old actress, Viola Davis has become the first black actress in history to score 3 Oscar nominations.

Davis was previously nominated twice for Best Supporting Actress, in the film “Doubt” and also “The Help” which were shot in 2009 and 2012 respectively. However, her impeccable performance in “Fences” continues to earn her global acclaim, recall she won the Best Supporting Actress in the same film at the last Golden Globe.

The 2013 edition of the annual Golden Globes took place on Sunday, January 13 at Los Angeles.
