Even the most expensive football transfers didn’t record such outrageous demand. To move from his present club, Roma to a club in the Middle East, Al Jazira, ex Arsenal star, Gervinho demanded for a helicopter to be at his disposal at all times, accommodation for his family, a private beach and a number of plane tickets to travel back to the Ivory Coast, Italian newspaper, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
The paper reports that Roma and Abu Dhabi club had agreed a deal of over a €13million (£9.25m) for the transfer of the 28 year-old but they backed out after he spelled out his terms.
