Arsenal edge Manchester City to reach FA cup final.

Pep Guardiola’s side, Manchester City were dumped out of FA Cup race, courtesy of Alexis Sanchez’s extra-time strike. The club  came from behind to secure a hard fought 2-1 victory at the Wembley.
Meanwhile Alexis Sanchez has scored more goals for Arsenal at Wembley (4) than any other player in the club’s history.
Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola will end a season without a trophy for the first time in his coaching career.

FA has introduced fourth substitute for the 2016-17 FA Cup competition

As from next season, FA Cup teams will be allowed to use a fourth substitute
during extra time, the Football Association have announced. The 4th substitution
will only apply to teams playing in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and Wembley
final. Clubs. Teams who have used their regular three substitutions in normal
time would be able to make an additional replacement should the game go beyond
90 minutes. The scheme was employed in the 2016 Copa America competition which
ended last month.
‘The Emirates FA Cup is renowned for its great
history and tradition but, as the game’s governing body, it is important The FA
continues to look at how it can further add to the drama and spectacle of a
competition loved by millions around the world. With the cup now adopting a
straight knock-out format from the quarter-finals onwards, the introduction of
a fourth substitute in extra time will bring extra intrigue and interest.’
 FA chief
executive Martin Glenn stated.

Manchester United win 2015 /2016 FA Cup

Manchester United ended their three-year trophy drought after they thrashed Crystal Palace to win the 2015/2016 FA Cup. 
Jesse Lingard’s extra time stunner ensured that the 10-man Red Devils seal their 12th FA title.

Shortly after Arsenal FC’s FA cup win last night, some unforgiving Gunners fans ripped off a banner of their former player, Cesc Fabregas at the Emirates. ‎

The English club thrashed out Hull City (3-2) to end their 9-year title drought.
