According to reports, Raymond Ekwu, the only child of Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, has passed on. The 15 year-old died on Monday, August 21st from complications related to the Sickle Cell Anemia. The Evangelist was once married to the father of the child, Charles Ekwu, the couple welcomed the child in 2002.
May his soul find repose and may God give the parents/family the fortitude to bear this loss. Amen.

Wow! The first time I heard this gist, I thought it was a movie technique. Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi, has not only turned Christian but has been ordained a Pastor (Can somebody shout Halleluyah).
The single mother was ordained as an Evangelist at Fresh Oil Ministry on February 5, 2012. Present at the occassion was her colleagues Clarion Chukwurah, Susan Peters, her son Raymond to mention a few.
The overly-excited Minister however shared the news on her facebook.
“DEARLY BELOVED, HAVING BEEN ANOINTED LAST YEAR, AM NOW BEING OFFICIALLY ORDAINED WITH MINISTERIAL LICENCE AND COLLAR. GIVING ME THE RIGHT TO CARRY OUT EPISCOPAL DUTIES AS A MINISTER OF GOD UNDER THE FOLD OF THE MINISTRY AS AN EVANGELIST. THIS IS HAPPENING THIS MORNING, SUNDAY, THE 5TH OF FEBREUARY 2012, AT THE FRESH OIL MINISTRY INT’L CHURCH.THIS IS REALLY THE LORD’S DOING AND ITS AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL! GOD IS OWESOME.”
Just like her colleagues, Liz Benson, Clarion Chukwurah who were also called to serve God, would she bid acting goodbye?
