Mavin Activated! Don Jazzy signs 4 new acts

 
Mavin Records head honcho, Don Jazzy has signed three new acts – Johnny Drille, DNA Twins (Clinton and Blair Roberts), and POE into the record label. The foremost music producer made the announcement on his instagram page today.
Meet the new acts

  1. Johnny Drille; a contestant in the 2013 edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa is an alternative singer, songwriter and producer.
  2. The DNA Twins contested in the 2016 edition of The Voice Nigeria as well as the 2013 edition of the Glo X Factor.
  3. POE a fast-rising rapper was a member of the Show Dem Camp (SDC). He has released a handful of singles and features, one of his recent projects is his remix of Olamide‘s “Who you epp”.

Mavin Star, Di'ja welcomes baby boy.

Mavin Records sensation, Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja who had a low key wedding last year has welcomed a baby boy. She made the announcement via an animated video posted on her Instagram page few hours ago.

– Got engaged in Summer 2015
– Had Their ( Fatiha) Wedding  In Summer 2015
– The Yoruba Traditional Wedding In December 2015.

OC Ukeje, Kiki Omeili, Korede Bello, others feature in Mr Nigeria 2014, Emmanuel Ikubese's Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign (Photos)

A social media awareness campaign against domestic violence has kicked off. Spearheaded by Mr Nigeria 2014, Emmanuel Ikubese and tagged R.A.W. – Respect A Woman for men, and Run A Way for women; the project is an effort to engage every individual, organization, to say NO/end all forms of domestic violence against women.

The photoshoot stars former Mr Nigeria, Bryan Okwara; OC Ukeje, Adesua Etomi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kiki Omeili, Shaydee, Korede Bello, Di’ja, , Lilian Afegbai, Chinyere Adogu (Mbgn Tourism 2014), Marie Miller (Miss Earth 2013).

Speaking on the commendable project, Ikubese believes “no man will ever hit his Mother because of Respect. If such Respect can be applied in Relationships/Marriages this will significantly reduce the rate of Domestic violence in our society.

He continued, “My vision is to see Men make this pledge to Respect A Woman and apply them in their Relationships. For Women in such violent Relationships its high time they Run Away from this deadly act.”
