From Tito to Drogba! Didier Drogba joins Samuel Eto, Frank Lampard, Theo Walcott in comic book world

Galatasaray striker, Didier Drogba’s fans will now have the opportunity to read everything they want to know about their hero. Just like the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Frank Lampard and Theo Walcott, the Ivorian is warming up to launch his comic book. Titled ‘From Tito to Drogba’ (Tito being his childhood nickname), the cartoon series will chronicle the former Chelsea star’s childhood days and his successful football career in Ivory Coast and England.

“It is a fun way to learn lots of things about me and to show young people that, if they do what I did, they can achieve their objectives. The most important thing is to show you can exceed your dreams. For me, football has become my job, my way of making a living, and that in turn has allowed me to meet many famous people, to be a UNICEF ambassador”. The 35 year-old told sports reporters.

Gabin Bao, the 36 year-old Ivorian behind the project said Drogba was open to the idea of the book.
I met him several times after we did the deal and he really liked the idea of sending a message to young Africans. Some people say I’ve made him too perfect. But he is like that. He is very careful about his image because he has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.”
The book will be released in Turkey, where his current club is located; Brazil, ahead of the World Cup and in Britain where he is most revered especially among Chelsea fans.

MANDELA TRIBUTE PUNISHMENT: "I'll DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN"- DROGBA

Drogba’s tribute to Mandela
Galatasaray star, Didie Drogba has taken to this Instagram page to react to the news that he would be face the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee and probably be fined for removing his jersey to reveal a vest which reads, “Thank You Mandiba”.

The ex Chelsea forward wrote, “I’ld be very interested to see your comment comments on this….but I’m sorry if I had to, I would do it again and again not because of political beliefs but because the man inspired me, a country, a continent and The World. Thanks again Mandiba.”

DIDIER DROGBA MAKES HISTORY

Ivory Coast/Galatasaray forward, Didier Drogba has emerged the first African player to win the prestigious Golden foot award. The 35 year-old beat world club players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Andres Iniesta, Frank Lampard, Iker Casillas, Samuel Eto’o, David Beckham, David Trezeguet, Andrea Pirlo and Miroslav Klose to win the 2013 prize. Last year’s award was won by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

DIDIER DROGBA TO LEAVE CHELSEA FOR CHINA

After spending eight years at the Stamford Bridge, Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has confirmed his plans of leaving Chelsea for a club in Shinghai, China.

The 34-year-old who was highly instrumental to the Blues' UEFA Champions League win over German side Bayern Munich on Saturday reportedly burst into tears when
he told the rest of the squad during their open top bus parade with the trophy on Sunday.

"We (he and his team-mates) will
not be together next season, As I have decided to leave, I wanted to tell them to their faces. Only that I couldn't do it. They made me break down. Even if it has been three
years that I have said I wanted to leave, I found it hard to admit that it was finished with me and the club.

Especially that I had no great desire for this end. But I don't envisage sitting on the bench watching others play at a time when the club is looking at putting together a new team. So there we go, I am readying myself for a great leap into the unknown. It will be another adventure," Drogba stated.

He's expected to move to Shanghai Shenhua, where his former Chelsea
team-mate Nicolas Anelka is.

Awwwww! So emotional, it isn't easy to leave people you've been with for 8 years.
Goodluck Drogba! It isn't a bad time to leave.

DROGBA'S MOTHER FEASTS SUPPORTERS

Is she not far too kind? Mrs Clotilde Drogba, mother of Chelsea/Ivory Coast international striker, Didier Drogba has been taking her time to cook fried plantain chips, white rice, pepper soup, attieke and tomato sauce for the national team fans/supporters at a temporary restaurant she set up in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, where the Elephants are playing their Group B games.
The old woman who cooks for over 60 members of the National Committee of the Elephants Supporters (CNSE) explained that the only way she could contribute to the tournament is to feed the supporters so they'll have enough strength to cheer the team to victory.
Asides that freebies, Ivory Coast sports minister Philippe Legre also gave out $100 (R776) to each of the 60 supporters.
Meanwhile, she also got criticized for feeding a very few number of supporters as againt Angola and Burkina Faso who brought 700 and 200 supporters.Human beings are insatiable, she never try?

DIDIER DROGBA, NOT LEAVING CHELSEA UNTIL….

Contrary to the rumour making rounds that Ivory coast striker, Didier Drogba is leaving Chelsea for a Chinese league yesterday, the 33 year old Samsung ambassador has declared that he has no intentions of leaving at least before June (when his contract expires).
Drogba who has spent 8 years in the London club was expected to join his teammate Nicholas Anelka in Shanghai Shenhua earlier this month. He also disclosed that he wants to "find again more fun, shivers, fervour, pressure and passion on the field".

CHINESE TO MAKE DROGBA WORLD'S RICHEST PLAYER.

A chinese named eGuangzhou Evergrande is fully set to make 33 year-old chelsea striker, Didier Drogba the world's richest player beating Samuel Eto's £350,000 a week record if he joins the club.
Though the Ivorian's contract expires at the end of the season, he wants a longer deal than the one-year offer on the table at Stamford Bridge.
Interested in Drogba include Tottenham, AC Milan, Shanghai Shenhua, Dalian Aerbin. Dalian Aerbin is offering a three-year deal worth £30million Or £200,000 a week – but Super League champions Evergrande is prepared to pay more than Eto'o £350,000 a week.
Speaking about the offers, Drogba's agent, Thierno Seydi stated that 'he's had the offer of a one-year extension from Chelsea, but that does not suit us. At his age, he has nothing left to prove as a player. Once you are well into your thirties, you have to go to a club where you can be certain you'll be able to pay your bills.
He will go where he is offered the most money. It could be the United States, Qatar, Russia or somewhere in Asia.
He'll go wherever he feels good from a financial point of view.'

The offers aint bad at all, why am I not related to either Drogba or Eto'o?
