It was indeed a glorious transition to eternity. Dignitaries, family members converged to bid billionaire businessman, Deinde Antonio Fernandez who died on September 1, 2015  farewell. The burial ceremony took place yesterday September 18, 2015  at the Cimetiere D’Lxelles, Chausseede Boenduel, 478, in Brussels, Belgium. 
Before he was committed to mother earth, a church service was held at Eglise Notre Dame du Sablonin. Present at the occasion was his eldest son, Antonio Fernandez, daughters, Antoinette, Oyinkan and Abimbola, Pastor Tunde Bakare, ex Lagos Commissioner, Bimbo Cardoso, Ovation Int’l Publisher, Dele Momodu and lots more. There are reports that his family are planning a superlative reception party and thanksgiving service in Lagos in the coming months.

Business magnate, Deinde Fernandez dies

Nigerian Billionaire, Ambassador Chief Antonio Dehinde Fernandez has died at the age of 79. His death was announced by Ovation Int’l publisher, Dele Momodu hours ago.
Nigeria, and indeed Africa, has just lost one of its greatest sons; Ambassador Chief Antonio Dehinde Fernandez is gone!,” Momodu wrote.‎

Regarded as one of the richest men in Africa, the diplomat held the following positions;  Permanent Representative of Central African Republic to the United Nations, advisor to the Angolan Government on economic matters, Deputy Permanent Representative of Mozambique to the United Nations, Special Adviser to the President of Mozambique on International Economic Matters amongst others.
