David Beckham tops celebrity role models of children list.

Retired English footballer and David Beckham has topped the list of UK celebrity role models of children. In a recent research conducted by Sky in celebration of the launch of the third series of comedy show Moone Boy, 5% of parents named the entrepreneur as the biggest influencer on their children.

David Beckham's 15 year-old son, Brooklyn joins Arsenal on a 1 year-deal.

After impressing coaches during several  training sessions/competitive games David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn has signed a  1-year deal with Arsenal’s youth team.
The 15 year-old Arsenal fan beat off competition from Manchester United and Chelsea.
Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played. He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club.

“Arsenal realise he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset. The club has signed him, fending off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in the meantime. Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal.” A source at the Emirates disclosed‎.

DIDIER DROGBA MAKES HISTORY

Ivory Coast/Galatasaray forward, Didier Drogba has emerged the first African player to win the prestigious Golden foot award. The 35 year-old beat world club players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Andres Iniesta, Frank Lampard, Iker Casillas, Samuel Eto’o, David Beckham, David Trezeguet, Andrea Pirlo and Miroslav Klose to win the 2013 prize. Last year’s award was won by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
