Award-winning singer/songwriter, Bukola Elemide, widely known as Asa has been crowned Akan Queen of Ivory Coast. The honour was bestowed for her efforts in fighting the scourge of AIDS in the African country. The 33 year-old Nigerian french recording artiste recently staged a concert in the country’s capital and she donated proceeds from the event to the National Fund for the Fight against AIDS.
