OC Ukeje, Kiki Omeili, Korede Bello, others feature in Mr Nigeria 2014, Emmanuel Ikubese's Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign (Photos)

A social media awareness campaign against domestic violence has kicked off. Spearheaded by Mr Nigeria 2014, Emmanuel Ikubese and tagged R.A.W. – Respect A Woman for men, and Run A Way for women; the project is an effort to engage every individual, organization, to say NO/end all forms of domestic violence against women.

The photoshoot stars former Mr Nigeria, Bryan Okwara; OC Ukeje, Adesua Etomi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kiki Omeili, Shaydee, Korede Bello, Di’ja, , Lilian Afegbai, Chinyere Adogu (Mbgn Tourism 2014), Marie Miller (Miss Earth 2013).

Speaking on the commendable project, Ikubese believes “no man will ever hit his Mother because of Respect. If such Respect can be applied in Relationships/Marriages this will significantly reduce the rate of Domestic violence in our society.

He continued, “My vision is to see Men make this pledge to Respect A Woman and apply them in their Relationships. For Women in such violent Relationships its high time they Run Away from this deadly act.”

UTI NWACHUKWU, BRIAN OKWARA LEAD THE TRUE CITIZENS

Ex-Big Brother winner and former Mr Nigeria, Uti Uwachukwu and Bryan Okwara have featured in a captivating movie titled TRUE CITIZENS. These two showbiz pathfinders who after their huge success in their endeavours (Big Brother and Mr Nigeria contest) did not retreat into obscurity but have continued to feature in one significant project or the other, one of which is acting. 
 
Brian played one of the lead roles in Ini Edo’s ‘I’ll take my chances’ movie while Uti also took the front seat in Desmond Elliot’s yet-to-be-released ‘Inside the cupboard’ film. Come Friday March 16, 2012, both will lead a couple of their ardent fans and movie bluffs to the cinemas to witness the premiere of the movie.
 
According to the producer, Elvis Chuks, “the movie is a must-watch especially amongst the Nigerian youths. The aim is to sensitize them as true citizens of the country to work hard and never indulge in illegal or fraudulent activities.” .
 
Asides the two husky stars, others who featured in the flick include: Alex Usifo, Kenneth Okolie, Clara Iweh, Melvin Oduah, Claret Onukogu, Alex Ekubo amongst others.

The premiere of one of the most outstanding and highly-anticipated movies of 2012, ‘I’ll take my chances’ finally took place on friday, February 24, 2012 at the Silverbird Galleria, Lagos.
Written by one of Nollywood’s best actresses, Ini Edo and prolific scriptwriter/producer, Emem Isong, the film which is from the stables of the Royal Arts Academy stars Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, late Sam Loco Ife and many more.
