BOBBY BROWN STORMS NIGERIA

American R&B singer Bobby Brown has arrived Lagos, Nigeria for his first African tour.
The ex-husband of the late pop singer, Whitney Houston arrived on March 7, 2012 in a private jet alongside his crew members, ‘New Edition’.

Expressing his happiness on touching the country he said,
“I’m happy to be here, but men, its hot here. I can’t wait to perform this weekend”.

And when asked what his fans should expect from him, “I’m promising them a great show’. He replied

Meanwhile, Brown and the New Edition band will on friday March 9, 2011 lead an array of Nigerian artistes to Eko Hotel and Suites for a power-packed show.

The event tagged ‘New Edition In Concert’ and organized by R28 Events will parade the likes of Omawumi, Eldee the Don, Banky W, Duncan Mighty and many more.
It will also take place on Sunday 11 March at Port Harcourt.

OPRAH WINFREY TO INTERVIEW WHITNEY HOUTON'S FAMILY

American talk show Queen, Oprah Winfrey will on March 11, 2012 interview the family members of the late songstress, Whitney Houston.
Tagged “Oprah’s Next Chapter”, the TV special which will air air on the Oprah Winfrey Network will feature members of the late singer’s family.
The list include 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina; Houston’s only child, Bobby Brown; her ex-husband, Patricia Houston, the singer’s sister-in-law, Gary, her brother and her manager, as well as the singer’s brother Gary.
The 57 year-old actress was one of the guests invited to Houston’s funeral last month.

POP DIVA, WHITNEY HOUSTON DIES AT 48

Iconic American singer, Whitney Houston has passed away. The pop diva whose battles with drugs, alcohol and ex-husband Bobby Brown marred her star power was found dead in her hotel room.
Though the six-time Grammy winner’s death is not yet known, paramedics and police called at the Beverly Hilton hotel where she was last seen, reports say there were no signs of foul play. She was aged 48.

Houston made her album debut in 1985 with “Whitney Houston,” which sold millions and spawned hit after hit. “Saving All My Love for You” brought her her first Grammy, for best female pop vocal. “How Will I Know,” ”You Give Good Love” and “The Greatest Love of All” also became hit singles.
Another multiplatinum album, “Whitney,” came out in 1987 and included hits like “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
