BEST OF NOLLYWOOD TO HOST 2-IN-1 PARTY FOR JIDE KOSOKO AT 60
Organizers of the Best of Nollywood awards (BON) have rolled out plans to celebrate veteran actor, Prince Jide Kosoko who turned 60 on January 12. According to them, a grand 2-in-1 party will be staged at two different venues for the erstwhile Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) President.
The first event will take place on January 29 by 9am at Eagles park Hotel Ikeja. Storm 360 CEO, Obi Asika will deliver a lecture titled “Nollywood a Paradigm Shift to excellence and Global Market.” Other panelists include, Desmond Elliot, Fidelis Duker, Tunde Kelani and Wemimo Ogunde. The day two event which is the main bash will hold on the same day at Troy Lounge Ogba. You would recall that the BON management also treated Fuji House of Commotion star, Ngozi Nwosu to a 3-in-1 party last year August.
BIMBO AKINTOLA, KEPPY EKPEYOUNG RETURN IN 90NINTH DAY
Contrary to what you may think. Veteran actors Bimbo Akintola and Keppy Ekepeyoung didn't go on a journey and time their return to a particular day, rather the talented actors who have seemingly been absent for sometime have made a great comeback in another intriguing movie- 9oninth day.
The film which is hitting the cinemas on Jan 27th was written, produced and directed by Paul Apel and was nominated in 3 categories in the last Best of Nollywood (BON) awards. Paul Apel clinched the best editor of the year award and was also nominated for his role in star-studded movie- Mr and Mrs.
