Caitlyn Jenner beats Obama's twitter record.

Do you remember the day Barack Obama joined twitter? Well, lemme refresh your memories if you don’t.  The US President reached1 million followers in approximately 4.5 hours after signing up on the social networking site on May 18, 2015.
Before Obama, the Guinness World Record was held by Robert Downey Jr, who in 2014 garnered1 million followers in 23 hours and 22 minutes.‎
Well, Caitlyn, formerly Bruce Jenner has squashed both records. Shortly after pictures of his transformation into a woman surfaced on twitter, Caitlyn Jenner became the fastest person ever to amass 1m Twitter followers. She reached 1 million followers at approximately 1:20 p.m, that was about ‎three minutes some few minutes less than Barack Obama’s.

Barack & Michelle Obama’s love story made into movie

The love story of the President of United States Barack Obama and his wife Michelle has been made into movie. The flick will centre on the couple’s first date.

Titled, “Southside With You,” while “Get On Up’ star, Tika Sumpter will be playing the role of Michelle in the movie, no actor has been named for Barack’s role.

The pair met years back at a Chicago law office where Michelle worked as a legal counselor and Barack a partner.

Time's 100 Most Influential People in the world 2014: 2 Nigerians make the cut

Business mogul, Aliko Dangote and Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala are the two Nigerians who made Times 100 Most Influential People in the world 2014 list. Topping the list is multiple award-winning American singer/songwriter, Beyonce. Other big names include Barack Obama, Angela Merkel, Serena Williams, Hilary Clinton, Pope Francis, Cristiano Ronaldo to mention a few.
A piece on Aliko Dangote written by the richest man in the world, Bill Gates states, “Aliko is Africa’s richest man, and his business activities drive economic growth across the continent. That’s impressive, but I know him best as a leader constantly in search of ways to bridge the gap between private business and public health.”
Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s profile was written by Bono, lead singer of U2 rock band. “I first met economist Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala when she was campaigning for Nigerian debt relief. We’d been fighting our way through capitals around the world trying to get Cold War–era debts canceled for the poorest, most heavily indebted countries. During her first term as Finance Minister of Nigeria, Ngozi arrived at her desk to find a weighty $30 billion owed. With oil prices on the rise, she stopped having to plead with her creditors and bought a massive chunk of her own debt so she could cancel it herself. As if to make a point. She became a legend in that moment”.
