Bacary Sagna fined £40,000 for social media comment

Manchester City’s Bacary Sagna has been fined £40,000 by the FA for misconduct in relation to a comment he posted on his Instagram page few days ago. “10 against 12.. but still fighting and winning as a team″ was posted shortly after City’s 2-1 victory against Burnley. and that had gotten the French player into a huge trouble
Before this punishment was meted out to him, Sagna said he had made the posting in the heat of the moment and took it down when he realized the implications. However, Manchester City are set to appeal the hefty fine .

FA asks Bacary Sagna to explain Instagram post

 
Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna may have bitten more than he can chew following a cryptic post on his instagram page. The message which read “10 against 12.. but still fighting and winning as a team″ after City’s 2-1 victory against Burnley on Monday is seemingly accusing referee of cheating. The Football Association (FA) has however asked him to explain the deleted post.

He has until 17:00 GMT on Friday to respond to the query.

This ‎festive season, few Manchester City and Manchester United players took out time to spread festive cheer with sick children at the Manchester Children’s Hospital.


They arrived the hospital with mascots, presented them with gifts, played table football, signed autographs and took pictures with them.

Players from the two teams include;  Robin van Persie, Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Bacary Sagna, Scott Sinclair,  Ander Herrera, Phil Jones, David de Gea and Marcos Rojo.
