The Emirates Stadium and Old Trafford high-quality pitches have won the Barclays Grounds Team of the Year 2014/2015 award.
The EPL Grounds Team of the Year is compiled using marks from match officials and match delegates and marks are given for specific aspects of pitch and management performance.

Henry Thierry begins coaching role at Arsenal.
Arsenal’s leading goalscorer and ex player, Thierry Henry has begun a coaching role at Arsenal’s youth team, Arsene Wenger confirms.
The France international who hung his boots at the end of the last MLS season in December 2014 also works as pundit for Sky Sports.
“Thierry Henry is making his first steps as a coach. It’s good for our youngsters to be coached by him. He’s been here once or twice. All our former players are welcome to come back here and get their coaching badges. We’re happy to have him.”
Ex Nigerian international named 13th greatest Arsenal player
In a poll conducted by Arsenal fans on the club’s website, Ex Nigerian international and former arsenal player, Kanu Nwankwo was voted the 13th greatest player of Arsenal football club.
French legend and Gunners’ highest goalscorer, Thierry Henry came tops while Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Ian Wright and Patrick Viera finished second third, fourth and fifth respectively.

The French footballer who announced his decision to leave the New York Red Bulls this week disclosed that returning to England is on his Christmas wish list.
“That’s the wish. Christmas is arriving soon, so it’s a wish. It’s not something that’s going to happen like this. It is a wish. Everybody knows how much I love the club, my feeling about it. It is a wish right now. I’m not trying to get out of the question, but it’s only a day now (since I announced my departure), so, yeah, it is a wish.”
David Beckham's 15 year-old son, Brooklyn joins Arsenal on a 1 year-deal.
After impressing coaches during several training sessions/competitive games David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn has signed a 1-year deal with Arsenal’s youth team.
The 15 year-old Arsenal fan beat off competition from Manchester United and Chelsea.
“Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played. He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club.
“Arsenal realise he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset. The club has signed him, fending off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in the meantime. Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal.” A source at the Emirates disclosed.

Shortly after Chelsea defeated his former club, Arsenal 2-0, Cesc Fabregas during a post-match interview affirmed that albeit he’s in a fantastic club right now, he still holds Arsenal and it’s fans in high esteem.
“I have huge respect for Arsenal – they gave me everything when I was little. Without them I wouldn’t be here and I wouldn’t have won what I have won. I have huge respect and I take it in a positive way. I know they love me and it is all because we were together once.
Sometimes, circumstances mean these things can happen. But I have always said it – I am not scared. They will always be in my heart forever. Tottenham striker, Emmanuel Adebayor says he regrets celebrating his goal against Arsenal. The former Gunners player did a knee-slide celebration after he netted a goal against his former team on Saturday.
“I regret that. People have to know as well we are human beings. When you give someone a stick, even if you keep abusing your son or daughter at home, you have to expect a reaction one day from him or her. That is what I have done, but for me it is behind. Obviously if I score against Arsenal I will not run full pitch and will not slide on my knees again.”He said
