Former England Player, Adam Johnson has been sentenced to six years in prison for having sexual activity with a 15 year old girl. The ex Sunderland player was also stripped of all his England caps.

Judge Jonathan Rose of the Bradford Crown Court told the footballer the offences happened when he engaged in frequent sexual intercourse with multiple partners and the victim suffered threats and thousands of abusive remarks” on social media.

“She had only just turned 15 when you began grooming her, because, as you were to admit, you found her sexually attractive.” He added.
