The Truth about 2Face

On it’s second episode, The Truth caught up with Nigerian music icon Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia aka TuBaba – who is currently hard at work promoting his latest album titled “The Ascension.”

In true ‘The Truth’ style, Olisa Adibua helps to bring to the surface the many sides of 2Face – the FUN, the SERIOUS, the PATRIOTIC, the HUMBLE, the LEGEND – as he opens up on everything from his latest album; his wife and family; his rumored beef with Mikel Obi; the Nigeria Music industry; as well as politics and governance in Nigeria.

He also speaks on him being the president of Nigeria. Interesting words coming from 2face.

2FACE&ANNIE MACAULAY WED SECRETLY

I'll tag this as the most 'camouflaged' decision of the year 2012'. Never believed this post would be bereft of the usual wedding pictures.

After fervent speculations, we can now authoritatively tell you that 2face Idibia and fiancée Annie Macaulay and mother of one of his six children have secretly tied the knot.

It was the most anticipated wedding of year 2012 but the pair made it a strictly-family affair as only their family members and one or two friends were in attendance.

An introduction was done a day after 2face released his concert and fifth album launch and the hush-hush wedding was done the following day at a private registry in Lagos. (You go fear planning)

2face confirming the news yesterday tweeted,

"@real2faceidibia: Hello beautiful pple of the republic! It is true! It is official! Annie and I r legally married! Thanx 4 your support and best wishes".

And this was what the 'twitterly' excited new bride, 'Annie' posted.

"@AnnieMacaulay1: I Love My Life…..It So Golden ***wide smile**

Though some sources claim the couple would still have an elaborate ceremony later but seriously I don't know why I doubt that, at least I'm supposed to have 'faith'.

Anybody who knows the 2 of them should tell them that I've not forgiven them o for not giving me pictures to use here.

2FACE IDIBIA LAUNCHES FIFTH ALBUM, 'AWAY&BEYOND'

A mind-blowing performance is an understatement.
Tagged the "Buckwild & Breathless Away&Beyond Concert" fans, colleagues& music pundits claim Nigeria's ace musician, 2face Idibia's fifth album launch party was a big plus.
But of course anything from 2face is nothing but a masterpiece.

Staged at the prestigious Eko Hotel, Victoria Island on April 30, 2012 the much-awaited event attracted the likes of Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Opral Benson etc.
Vector, MI, Sound Sultan, W4, Sir Shina Peters etc also showed their support on stage. And then watching, the defunct PLANTASHUN BOYZ group's performance was another emotional experience.

And again, 2face hasn’t reneged on his promise to make Annie Macaulay his wife o. The above picture shows him crowning her his African Queen (Aooooo, I’m soo ‘jealox’).
A"My New Album Is For The Mature Minds", 2Face warns.

Lagos are you ready? One of the most-anticipated concerts by indigenous lyricist, Abolore Akande known as 9ice is only 7 days away.
Tagged Bashorun Gaa Versus (BGV) and spearheaded by leading event company, Flytime Entertainment, the event which promises to be a blast in a ball will be held at Eko Hotel and Suites on March 11, 2012.
Hosted by wave-making actress, Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa, A-list musicians performing at the event include Fuji Maestro Kwam 1, African Queen crooner, 2Face Idibia, P-square, Tiwa Savage  Banky W, Duncan Mighty, Terry G, Wizkid, Lord of Ajasa, Dammy Crane, Davido, Modenine, Yemi Sax, Seriki, YQ, DJ Zeez and the Ajayi brothers.
The night will also see the Ogbomosho artiste launching his Bashorun Gaa and Versus albums…

Legooooooo!

NOW THAT 2FACE HAS PROPOSED TO ANNIE….

I’m sure Nollywood actress, Annie Macaulay hasn’t recovered from the shock. And to people who asked these questions…2face? Propose? Ít must be a joke! Are you for real? Finally? You can’t be serious? It has happened oo and you all should mind your businesses.lol
This I’m sure has been termed one of the biggest surprises of the century, when the news broke out today that renowned musician, 2face Idibia proposed to her age-long girlfriend and mother of one of his children, Annie Macaulay last night at JJ Okocha’s club 10. I was shocked but equally happy for the two lovebirds.
I knew Annie Macaulay right from plantashun boiz era and when he became a solo artiste. After his first armed robbery attack, Annie was right beside him in bed.
And years later when other women started coming in, I was like…..what happened? And when Annie got her own share of love, I was like this is real action film.
Now that 2face has proposed, I hope his ‘spirited attempt’ to become a father of different nations or the ‘beautiful dream of producing a football team or teams won’t be pursued.
Now that 2face has proposed, I hope marriage plans will follow.
Now that 2face has proposed, I hope we stop hearing ugly stories.
Now that 2face has proposed I hope people who advised him (at one point in time) to stop spreading the love will at least pop some champagne.lol
Now that 2face has proposed I hope protests by some factions would spring up. #okbye

Sisto, pls keep flaunting that ring.
