2face’s hit track, African Queen, from his Face 2 Face Album in 2004 now has a remix. The award-winning singer released the video to commemorate his fourth wedding anniversary with his wife, Annie Idibia
African Queen is one of the official soundtracks of the movie “10 days in Sun city” produced by Ayo Makun (AY). 2Baba stars in the movie alongside Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) and Adesua Etomi and Uti Nwachukwu amongst other actors.
The video, which was shot on the set of the movie in South Africa, feature clips from 2Baba’s 2013 Dubai wedding with his wife Annie. The original song was the hit track of his 2004 ‘Face to Face’ album when he still went by the stage name 2Face before he eventually announced in 2014 that he should be addressed as 2Baba.

Celebrity couple, Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia and Annie Idibia have bagged two endorsement deals. While 2baba was announced as the first ever Nigerian ambassador for liquor brand, Campari at the 4th edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference, held yesterday at Landmark Centre, Oniru, Lagos, Annie was unveiled as the new ambassador for Slimtea, a premium weight loss tea, 24 hours later.
“Through this partnership, I’m looking forward to helping many women on their weight loss journey”.

One of Africa’s finest musicians, Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia was treated to a grandoise birthday celebration yesterday September 20, 2015. Albeit the multiple award-winning singer turned 40 on September 18. The event which was attended by musicians, friends, families as well as stakeholders in the industry took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites. 2face and Annie were the cynosure of all eyes at the event, Annie dazzled in a custom embellished silver gown by designer by Jeremiah Obodo. Her makeup was done by Caroline Danjuma. Artistes who thronged the venue of the shindig to honour the legendary act include D’banj, Don Jazzy, 2face even pleaded with these two friends to do one song together.

ANNIE MACAULAY BANNED FROM ACTING?
Some weeks ago, a reliable source told me Annie Macaulay, actress and fiance to one of Nigeria’s music exports 2face Idibia lost the lead role of a particular movie; not because too many projects were taking their toll on her but because she needed to take permission from 2face (to take the script or not) good wife-to be right?
The news making rounds now is that 2face has actually banned Annie from acting? But this has always been her profession. Anyways maybe the pretty mother of one would prefer to stick to her ‘lost-but-found’ fiance’s rules.
The celebrity couple I learnt have picked a date in July for the wedding. Would it be a talk-of-the-town ceremony or would they opt for a low-key??? Watch this Space!!!
