AFCON 2016 Q: Eagles held in Kaduna

The Super Eagles of Nigeria conceded a late goal against the Pharaohs of Egypt at the 2016 AFCON qualifier held in Kaduna today.

Oghenekaro Etebo gave Nigeria the lead in the 59th minute but unfortunately former Chelsea player, Mohammed Salah leveled for Egypt at the 90th minute.

With this disappointing outing, the Super Eagles’ chances of making it to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon are slim.

The Eagles will travel to Egypt on the 29th of March for the return leg.
