Musa, Enyeama, make shortlist for CAF Player of the Year Awards

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the top five nominees for the 2014 African Player of the Year and the 2014 African Player of the Year (Based in Africa) in the Glo-Caf Awards and guess what, our very own Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa made the cut. ‎
Asides the Super Eagles/Lille goalkeeper and the CSKA Moscow player, others on the list include Asamoah Gyan of Ghana and Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City Midfielder, Yaya Toure who also plays for. Cote d’Ivoire.

Vincent Enyeama & Ahmed Musa are the only Nigerian players on CAF's 2014 African Player of the Year nominees list.

And everyone keeps wondering why Mikel Obi’s name is missing on the list. Ahmed Musa and Vincent Enyeama are the only Super Eagles players on CAF’s 25-man 2014 African Player of the Year list.
