Morocco and Lille midfielder, Sofiane Boufal has won the 2016 Marc-Vivien Foé prize for best African player in France Ligue 1. The 22-year-old beat Algeria and Lyon’s Rachid Ghezzal and Cheikh N’Doye of Senegal and Angers to win the trophy. The award was won last year by Andre Ayew of Ghana.
