Nigeria’s first female Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Patricia Etteh, who enrolled at Buckingham University, UK in September 2012 for a 2-year law degree programme is now a graduate.

The 61 year-old former Legislator who was tagged an ‘illiterate hair dresser’ was pictured cutting a cake at her graduation party yesterday.

Recall that Mrs. Etteh was forced out of power on allegations of corruption and gross abuse of office in October 2007.

She allegedly spent N628m for the renovation of her official home and that of her deputy as well as the purchase of 12 official vehicles.
