Britain’s first cinema has flickered back to life.

Situated at the Regent Street in Central London, the first cinema was the first place to show a film in the UK, the Lumiere brothers’ Cinematographer in 1896.
A whooping £6million was spent on its refurbishment. The 119 year-old cinema has been rebuilt in an art-deco style by architect Tim Ronalds and it will introduce audiences to moving pictures.
