Yesterday, I read a biased statement made by FIFA on Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or nomination; "He got 34 goals in La Liga 2012/13, a figure only bettered by Messi's 45." Not forgetting Sepp Blatter's hairstyle comments amongst others.

The Argentine's brother, Matias Messi incurred the wrath of teeming CR7 fans after he tweeted a picture of the two footballers with the trophies they've won between 2009 and 2013. And of course it favoured his humble brother.
