Chelsea made the dream of a young fan of the club, Connor Ansell who is down with Leukaemia come true by taking their EPL trophy to him on the hospital bed. The players who are currently on pre-season tour in Australia received an email asking if they could do anything to cheer the ailing fan up.
JT took the silverware to him, gave him a Chelsea jersey and posed for photograph(s) with him. The smile on the lad’s face says it all.
“Today I had the pleasure to finally meet . Connor is fighting Leukaemia and Chelsea received an email before our trip to Australia asking if the club could do anything to cheer him up as Connor is a big Chelsea fan. We were halfway to him yesterday before training but traffic jams on our way forced us to turn around to make training on time, so after lunch today we made our way back to the hospital to see Connor along with the Premier League Trophy and put a BIG smile on his face. You are an inspiration my friend and keep fighting. JT @chelseafc #sydney” He wrote on instagram .
