Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola could be fined by UEFA for wearing a t-shirt that supported a campaign to investigate the death of a journalist at last year’s World Cup.
The former Barcelona manager donned the shirt with the inscription “Justica para
Topo” to a Champions League news conference held ahead of Bayern’s quarterfinals, second-leg match against Porto on Monday.
UEFA said the T-shirt was “political, offensive or provocative” adding that it prohibit the use of “sporting events for manifestations of a non-sporting nature”. The case will be dealt with on May 21.
Thought it ended with Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal celebration charge.
