Super Eagles manager, Stephen Keshi has apologised for the Eagles’ awful outing yesterday. Nigeria’s clash with Sudan in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on October 11 ended 1-0 in favour of Sudan.
Interestingly, that’s the Big boss as fondly called’s first apology in his career.
“I want to apologise to Nigerians. This is the first time I am doing this in my entire career as a player & coach. We had a couple of early chances but the ball refused to enter into the net. I promise them we will make an amend on Wednesday.” He affirmed.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Emenike and Mikel Obi blamed their dismal performance on the pitch.
Emenike, “Where we played is worst than when we were playing street football. They deliberately took us there.”
“When you shoot it goes the wrong direction.” He added.
